Thanks, Emil. I actually took this with my regular camera, Sony a7, and then sent the image to my phone for some processing with the iPhone photos app. I'll post a followup version. |

Thanks Palli, that's a great idea. I actually took this from a moving boat, and waited for the three of them to position just right to take the shot. |

I love the area and scenes like this, Henry. My first impression is also that it needs more contrast. Like you, I like Gary's version, except for the barn being too dark, but I'm sure you'll solve that. The sky definitely needs more punch. I would also try a vignette. |

I also like the dark sober mood to this, Emil, and the symmetry. Good job on achieving your goal through post processing. The beautiful sky is a bonus. |

Echoing the other comments, although one could say it's lacking a boat or something on the lake, the foreground grasses render so beautifully as to make the image interesting. It has a lovely mood. |

I agree the treatment fits just right with your shot Gary, it has a great, old, feel to it. I probably would have warmed it a bit towards sepia but still enjoy it as is. |

While I identify with Gary's comments, Charles, I'm intrigued by the composition. Just the two boats is a bit of a rule breaker but it adds a little edge and I think it works. |

I just love simple images like this, Arik, and am reminded that so much of photography is about what we keep out of images, as much as what we include.
The texture and the lines in the tree and building are what draw me, and of course the light on the leaves, the people are just an accent, very nice!

As I travel I notice scenes like this are all too common, just a little different in each country. The rocks, the tin buildings, never seen that before, great image Melanie. I'm thinking a little closer in would show me the people better, but what you have shows more context.
I've had my color camera go out on a trip also, first day no less! So I know a little how you feel. |

Kind of an odd and funny image Kieu Hanh, but I was struck by the sharpness and detail, impressive ! But in the end to me it's a humorous take on photographers being so over the top in their enthusiasm and efforts. |

I like the way the morning glorys run along the top with a few accents down below, it's quite playful. The bits of red color complete the image. |

What I like is the blue reflection in the right side, very nice and gives it an overall cool mood. |

Wonderful image Steven. I keep coming back to the woman in the center. I can see possibilities of either removing or blurring the people just above her. But overall I love what you've done and applaud the creativity. |
