Thanks Melanie, I love shooting through the windshield, even while driving! Usually I try to clean them up as Palli has done so it looks conventional. This time I was going for the perspective of a passenger, glad it piqued some interest. |

I like images that put the emphasis on true black and white, like this, Henry. I agree with the others about the top; an alternative would be to crop down a little further. |

Beautiful scene Emil, there are some nice compositional elements such as the leading line, the wheel, that take us through the scene. I think a slight vignette, like Gary added but perhaps a bit less, would be the version most to my liking. |

I like the way you composed this, Palli, the trees you've chosen to show, works very nicely. I also like the black sky. Gary's point is also well taken. |

This is my kind of image, Gary, great job. The beautiful light from the lamp, and those diagonal shadows, home run. I kind of wish it didn't have the foreground sofa, but that's a minor point. |

Nice job accentuating that beautiful curve, Charles. I find Gary's version completes it, st least to my eye, providing just the right mood. |

I think the main area of interest for me here, is the way the unconventional dress of the woman, interplays with the murals, and how she's positioned between. But the image doesn't quite have the impact for me that your exemplary landscapes do. |

The contrast and clouds certainly make this a compelling image Melanie. But in a sense, by having two compelling subjects, the foreground grasses and the distant storm, it's a "ping pong" image, my eye keeps going back and forth.
You could do as palli suggests, I think you could even include more of the grasses as in the original, but I'd prefer to tone them down about so they don't steal attention from the more impactful scene in the distance. |

That's palli! Yours is much improved. Though part of me wants the viewer to be looking through the windshield as I was… |

Rear camera Steven, a little more difficult to verify the shot, but the rear is the better camera right? |

It's quite impressive Quang, with the three distinct areas of interest, lots of depth and color in the bridge, we'll laid out and executed. |

Believe it or not, I've been there, photographed this same barn, cute little town. I like the direction you took this Pat, the painterly makes it feel even more Americana, very nice. |

I have a different interpretation than Steven's; I enjoy the path and the classic white fence, it has a nice country lane mood to it, the flowers are just an accent. Very nice, is this home Ruth? |

Steven, regarding your question, I hadn't thought about it until I read your caption, so I think you're ok by me. There are some lovely leading lines here, as you've carefully composed this, the river, trees, even the clouds cooperate. I can't help but notice an image that wouldn't have been made midday is so compelling given the light, good job at noticing the opportunity. |
