I was struck and had to comment on the beautiful light in this image, Jim. Nice colors and composition too. |

Wonderful idea, Hoshedar! The use of silhouette, or near-silhouette works so well against that sky, and there are no distracting elements. Exceptional. |

Lovely scene, light and of course that sky. It does feel just a tad underexposed. |

I like the simplicity of this composition, Palli, it's graceful, elegant. For me, I like the main edit you have presented, the best. I think it's an image that can be quickly overwhelmed by special effects and processing, and is at its most effective with the softer touch. Very nice. |

The chaos is absolutely maddening, Charles, which I think is a good thing, what you were after. But I do tend to agree with the others on the processing. While I can see what you were after, I find it hard to look at very long. The tension is certainly interesting however. |

Your composition of a very simple scene has indeed produced the peaceful mood you were after, Gary. Absolutely nothing distracts, it's put together like a pro. |

While too often titles detract rather than contribute to an image, here, the title is essential and works to complete the image, as Emil's reaction shows. Also, your processing seems to have lessened the infrared effects and presented more of a classic black and white image, which I appreciate. The tonalities and subtle shadows are beautiful. I also like the empty chair on the end as an accent. Very well done. |

It's lovely, Melanie. The spotted horses make this, for me, and the high key and white vignette work well. Nicely done. |

Great job on this macro, Kieu-Hahn, it's sharp, there's lots of detail, and his positioning between the two slats of wood makes for an interesting composition. That eye certainly stands out! Nicely done. |

What an interesting macro scene you have there, Ruth. Cool spider web. While the background leaf blur works really well, it would have been preferable to get more sharpness on the web and the spider itself. That's easier said than done, of course, especially with cell phone cameras. |

I really like this composition, Belinda, and what you've done with it. Even the original is very nice, but the effect of shadows you've given it makes it special. I think the saturation is fine, and wouldn't punch it up any more. My one nitpick, is the wood trim in the lower left corner I find distracting, and might look for a way to either clone it or crop it out. |
