Thank you Ed I've been looking at this image lately and thinking the same thing, it's unbalanced, like it wants to be a pano but can't... |

Welcome again, Albert. The man you left for scale, makes a big contribution in this image. If you are shooting in RAW, you shouldn't run into image degradation during post processing, although I've found shooting in IR does give images a surreal look anyway. Overall it has an interesting mood, and the tree makes for a compelling scene. |

Another minimalistic image, and I think it might have been even better if taken in other directions, as Darrell alludes to. All the detail in the rock, seems to make the plant harder to find. I might play around with different effects in black and white, or maybe this works better in color. I do like the idea and have taken images like this myself. |

I also like silhouettes, and minimalism, so yes I like this.
It looks like the trees were rotated 90 degrees, but reading your description apparently it's not a composite, just turned out that way, and I have a hard time getting past that in the image. For me, a slight crop on the top gets me past that, and I'm able to enjoy this a lot more. |

A fun story-line, with the trail of footprints and clothes; and you've chosen an interesting part of the dunes for the back drop. I might have cropped out the sky, as it doesn't add anything, the tilt is a bit distracting, and removing it focuses my attention more on the model. |

Certainly a keeper, Ed! One of those shots everyone longs for, congrats. And you knew just where to place it in the frame. I think regarding Darrell's comment, it's probably already been cropped quite a bit already...? |

I also like the detail in this, and the various people, it's a slice of light, I'm drawn to the man with the bike on the right. It does have a high key feel to it, and as Darrell says the building on the left edge is too bright. |

Thank you Palli, that sometimes happens when using prime lenses as I do, and I think your edit improves the image. |

A well thought out composition, I like this because it's more about the "cool effect" of having IR make the trees white. The reflection, the angle of the river in the scene, the clouds, and the lack of any distracting elements, make this a compelling image, well done Palli. |

I've attempted images like this, Gary, and yours is definitely more successful! The slanted backdrop and vine is a bold move, and it works, adds tension. The shadows are just lovely, and I also like the texture in the wood background. Well done! |

Settings like this always have a powerfully solemn feel, and in yours the gloomy sky, the detail on the stones, all contribute to this. But a few comments regarding the light: The brighter light in the center, I'm not sure if that's natural, coming through the clouds, or was added to guide the viewer, but it feels like the latter, ie, not quite natural. The very bright area in the back distracts me just a bit, because my eye goes back there, but it's too small to see what's there. And finally on the sky, I might try to bring out the whites in the clouds a little more, the contrast would bring out the drama, and as is it feels a little heavy and too separate from the rest of the image. |

A lovely high key image, which takes advantage of the softness given my the IR. I think either as is, or the crop suggested by Craig, work well for me. The drops, the hairs, are great little details that make this special. |
