Thank you Barbara. I kept the contrast low on purpose for the reason you stated. I did try a higher level but found it too harsh for the situation. |

Thank you for your thoughts Albert. I am still learning how to capture the moment. Will use the input to encourage more efforts on my part. |

Good evening Barbara,
With Kirsti - a great title for the image. I really like Milky Way images and in this case it makes a great background for the fort. I do not have any suggestions for improvement.
This is a real wall Hanger for me - one I would be glad to hang in my office.
Thanks you for sharing it with us Barbara. |

Hi Albert,
A really dynamic landscape, well exposed and processed. The clouds, the wooded land, the shore line and more. Other than perhaps lightening the lower right corner but even that is nit picking.
A very nice image Albert - thank you for sharing it with us. |

Hi Kirst,
I like this image - the clarity of the tulip in front and the bokeh of the plants in the background. In the past I would have blackened the background highlighting the flower in front. However I do like how you have processed the image.
A very nice image, thank you for sharing with us. |

Good evening Steve - I also welcome you to the group.
I have always loved the ocean - felt very much at home on the open sea during my sea duty with the Navy. I had heard of the winds on the Great Lakes - now I see it. A great "sea' scape.
I cannot imagine anything that would make the image any better. Very well done sir, well done indeed.
Thank you for sharing it with us, and again welcome to the group Seve. |

Hi Robert,
I really like the concept behind this image. Whenever I see images like this it gives me the willies, I am not afraid of heights, it is just hanging in space like the window washer in the image … .
While I really like the image I also find the black panel on the right and the reflections(?) of the pennants to be distracting from the focal point of the image the window washer.
Attached is a modification focusing on the washer. I cropped it, flipped it, and then made minor lighting changes also included a frame around the image to "contain" the horizontal lines from running out of the image. Your thoughts?
Thank you again for sharing this image Robert. |

Thank you Kirsti. I appreciate your comments. I find that there are such moments everywhere occasionally I am perceptive enough to capture them. |

Thank you Robert I appreciate your comments. It was, for me, one of those moments that cannot be planned. They simply are - I was fortunate in location and timing. |
