Hi Trung,
A very nice action shot in the rodeo setting. Great scene. capture. I agree with Jeff, I think darkening the Sky, or perhaps replacing it with a clouded sky would add to the image. I would try something like that myself so you could see what I mean, but at this time my left arm is in a sling from rotator cuff surgery and I am not much into using both hands. Fortunately, I can use text to speech so I can respond.
Overall, an excellent action shot. Thanks for sharing it Trung. |

Good evening, Albert,
I like the concept of what you were trying to do, however, to my eye, the middle section of bright white actually dominates everything in the image. I didn't even notice the buildings on the right until I read Jeff's comment. To my eye I would've liked to see that Center tone down a little bit and a little more balance in the image as far as overall tonality.
Still, it is a nice landscape, I have been to Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone and I have seen the stark white deposits, I suspect lime deposits, left by the water coming out of the ground. |

Good evening, Kristi.
I have liked your images with ethereal subjects in the past and this is no different. A great concept and I believe well executed. Having said that, I would agree with Jeff that flipping the image works a little bit better. My reasoning is that in the version you shared with us, the dress dominates the image, and I tend to see the ethereal image in the back less. However, when it's flipped, the dress still seems to dominate, but at least my eye wants to move past that, left to, right, and settles more on the ethereal image.
Well executed, thank you for sharing it with us. |

Good evening, Jeff. I like the image and I liked how you processed it. Especially taking out that white and red striped tape, seamless and very effective. I also like how you darkened the windows so that what was in the store windows did not take away from the scene. A very nice image, and processed to pull the most out of the original. Good job and thank you for sharing it with us. |

Thank you Trung. I had considered cloning that dead tree out, but chose to leave it in as part of the overall setting of the image. Thank you very much for your input. |

Thanks for the thoughts, Jeff. And thank you for the work that you did. It is interesting. I chose not to crop it anymore than I did in order to get an economy of scale. I used the walkers to give an idea of just how big everything was around them. While, I appreciate your effort, The more aggressive crop didn't work as well for me. Thanks again for your efforts. |
