Ian, you are the master of the portrait, and this is another example of your skills. The image is very well illuminated, presence of shadows to create depth, catchlights in both ayes, and beautiful colors. |

Erik, this Roseate Spoonbills family portrait is a plus..There is good visualization of the chicks, but not great separation. I think I have an image of the same family including Mama and Papa. All boils down to be at the right place the right time. Image is sharp, and the colors are well managed. Interesting when feeding time comes as how each chick demands as if they were the only one. |

Vella, the presence of the sail boat gives us scale of the grandiosity of the landscape. Your PP brought color to the image. Image is sharp. |

Guy, indeed old Europe is very photogenic. The image is sharp and shows us the different architectural variations of the city. Somehow, the colors are kind of dull. I used dehaze, and a little light in the shadows and I think the image became more vivid. |

Bill, interesting outfit posed for you guys. Great that you can have Camera Club interactions with Canada, just over the new bridge. Nice illumination. Sharp. |

Gary, indeed resembles the Golden Ratio. I like very much as how the handrail starts in the left lower corner (my left) of the frame, and follows all the way, being sharp back there. Great capture. |

Gerhard, I have never seen this bird. Interesting interaction of the birds on top of the flower. Do the nest in this flower ? otherwise what would be the reason of the fight ? The image is sharp. I agree that the grey area in the back is somewhat distracting. |

Grace, it is nice to watch the young boobies flapping the wings but not ready to fledge as yet. There is nothing we can do when the color of the bird is the same as the background. I appreciate Doughs attempt but it made the colors not natural. |

Doug, the image is super sharp and at peak of action with the wings completely expanded and a mean look in the eyes. I would have left more room in front of the eagle to fly into. This crop creates a lot of tension. |

Dough, no it did not dunk the frog in the water. It kept hitting him with the beak. |

Kerry, you captured the performer at peak of action, with extended armas, nd open mouth from singing. The subject is sharp. The blurred background adds interest to the image. Good vantage point to get rid of the people. |

Michele, I am puzzled as why you elected to change the image to monochrome, being a beach and sand location where the colors are bright and vivid. Yes, it show three women coming out of the water or from being at the shoreline, given by the footprints on the sand. Image created from a high vantage point. Yes, there is a little hint of softness proving some degre of movement. |

Bruce, interesting fact that the young ones are the interacting subjects. Obviously all the participants are involved in the activity. To note that all are wearing a blue top. The image is sharp. |

Bev, this is another example of the "new normal" where people do not communicate with other people in real life, but via the smart device. This is not an unusual view, but the rule. The subject is sharp, and there is some blurring of the background. The man has an apron and a name tag, which could mean he is on a break from work. |

Andre, this is another illumination "nightmare" (for us...) Not knowing your skills, some people may say this is a composite, but it is not. I am sure that it would take me 100 tries to get something close to this. I know that the environment is very important for your style, but i think there is to much black empty space that is not adding anything. I did a small crop. |

Gerald, this is a big wave indeed. The image is sharp. The surfer is looking up anticipating what is coming to him. I think this is a very good surfing image. The water splash is all over the place. |

Karen, you did an excellent job selecting the vantage point to photograph the hummingbird with the beautiful orange background created by the orange flower out of focus, which makes the hummingbird stand out very well and at the same time well illuminated with a catchlight in the eye. The image is sharp. I probably would crop some of the empty darl space above. |

Richard, great couple of the burrowing owls. Yes, Marco Island and other sites in west Florida are known for the number of nests. Yes, if you buy a plot of land, unaware of their presence, you will never be allowed to build. I wish you had presented us the whole body, and if the crop is intentional, I think it needs to be even tighter. Agee with previous comments. |

Bruce, your adjustments improved the image, but the crop is too tight. Birds need space in front of them to fly into if needed. Maria is right. |
