Gary great DOF with symmetry improved by Guy straightening the verticals. Sharp. Interesting structure and architectural image. Lots of lines and triangles. It may be a good candidate for high contrast B & W. |

Guy, the artist is good recreating the background on his canvas with lots of lines. Nice colors, image is sharp. Using the adjustment brushes in ACR I gave more contrast and added blacks to the canvas and now the traces are more obvious. |

Erik, typical view at or around Bosque del Apache in New Mexico during winter when the sandhill cranes migrate and stay there. They look like small planes landing. Image is sharp. Nice sunset colors. Agree with Vella that it looks like your vantage point was high on the sky. |

Bill, what a view, priceless. Lucky you got the window on the correct side of the plain. Was it planned or just pure luck ??
Your PP rendered a great image. Love the S curve of each end of the bridge. What a monumental architectural creation. |

Gloria, good capture with activity, drinking water, with the reflection in the water. Agree that is better if you can see the eye better. The background is very distracting. |

Doug, great capture, beautiful colors. Interesting that none of the snow droppings overlapped the bird which is very sharp frozen in air. |

Gerhard, the stork is going to have a feast. Great that we can see an eye in both the bird and the fish which adds value. I am not sure if I understand what you stated in your description that "it is forbidden to alight from one's vehicle". Very good image. |

Michel, great street as well as travel image, The outfit is very likely an indication of the etnia, as is the surroundings elements and the beads on her hand. The image is sharp, and the colors are very vivid. She is very well illuminated. |

Bev, the girl is enjoying the corn on the cob for sure and does not care of what is going on around her. Nice contrast of the yellow of het hair and the corn against the blue jacket. Non distracting background. |

Bruce, I can relate to that...
The man, in a very "Inconspicuously" way is reliving himself. I like the way he aligned against the water drainage pipes which work as a leading line towards him the same as the ground intersection with the pipes. The colors are muted indicating the effect of the element for a long time. |

Stephen, you caught him at peak of action (priceless face expression). I agree with Michele about the distracting elements competing with the main subject. You did not give us the ISO setting and it is not available in the image metadata, since I see some noise. My take about the crop. |

Ronald, I guess is the result of sweat and grease the helpers apply to the boxer so the opponents glove slides. |

Andre, I must admit that I like very much your extensive explanation as for why your style is what it is, and at the same time, I must admit that I/we are out of your league. Great job. |

Ronald, indeed a good jumper over the opposite team player that seems to be holding him. At first I thought it was a lineout, but realized about the opposite team player. More than the car, to me the gigantic board takes over the image, but I do not see how to crop it without sacrificing the referee. |

Andre, another WOW image with a priceless sunset colors. Peak of action. Perhaps the main subject is too small for the large real state. I agree with Ronald that seeing his face would add additional value. |

Maria, the scavengers will fight for a piece of rotten organic material, different of what the raptors do for a fresh killed prey. The colors are kind of washed out with no contrast. Using the ACR masking filters I added light and color to the birds, and lowered the light in the background, now the separation and standing out is better. |

Bruce, this is the result of being at the right place, the right tim and be fast in creating the images. When the whales surface with the mouth wide open it works like a vacuum cleaner sucking all the fish inside and with the help of the baleen. |

Thank you very much Maria. In reality, this is the purpose of he discussion groups, to make recommendations as how to improve an image if it warrants. People do not want to take the time to do it. Last but not least, the image is in the eyes of the beholder. |
