Gary, interesting combination of lines and curves framing the color glass. It is evident the work you put into obtaining a very symmetric image. Good PP bringing out all the color and details. |

Ian, great landscape composition with foreground with the swans, midground with the water and ducks and background given by the houses. I am not sure about the crop an did, perhaps try to remove it instead, since now there is tension at that border. |

Guy, this locomotive has reached its age of service for sure. It looks in pretty good condition. The colors contrast is great as you mentioned. Very sharp. The presence of the machinist adds a lot of interest, and of course the smoke out the chimney. |

Grace, a picture is worth a thousand words. When you make a suggestion, it is allowed to perform them on the image and upload it. This way we can have a real visualization.
BTW, I like very much nature's gift of a giant soft box light. |

Grace, the wood duck to me is the most precious and elegant of the ducks. He is posing for you. It is sharp and the colors are vivid. I think the portrait crop (original) brings out more interest showing the fine details and taking away the distracting background. |

Jerry, this is a great white egret. Indeed he/she is debating what to do with the critter which to me looks like a shrimp. The crop is good and the background is nonn distracting. |

Gerhard, very interesting image, but too busy. The presence of so many vultures competes with the stork. The image is sharp and the colors are well balanced. I agree with Dough about a little more space above the stork wings, and more water for reflection. Using the magic of Photoshop generate feature and cropping some of the vultures behind the stork, this is my rendition. |

Pinaki, in spite of the fact that we can not see the faces of these Nuns, we can presume that they are very interested and involved in viewing the art, given by their body language. The Nuns are sharp, and the background is slightly blured but we can see all the detail of the art. I did crop the bright door or frame on the right (my right) since it is very distracting pulling my eyes that way. |

Bev, your vantage point was very low, elongating the dancer. The ground and background is completely off. The sky becomes a very nice backdrop. I made the background more straight. |

Don, great action shot for sure. The image is sharp in the foreground swimmer. The separations frame both swimmers. I just wonder if you have the "next frame" where the arm of the background swimmer would be in the image completely. Pretty sharp for only 1/500 sec @ 600 mm. |

Gerald, indeed your vantage point was perfect, creating a good peloton with separation of all the riders. I am also curious to see Bruce's crop suggestion. My guess is that he would eliminate some of the wires above. This is a tighter version than 16x9.
The image is sharp. Perhaps giving a little more space in the front would have additional space to ride into. |

Maria, the wasp is good looking, but scary as well. Never seen this variety before. The colors are striking. Obviously, it posed for you. You had to come real close with only a 100 mm macro lens. Very sharp including the front of the flower using only a f/6.3 setting. You have a very good eye for little critters, sin lugar a duda. |

The bear is looking that way and you have to give space to try to show what is he looking at. Also, if you crop the right side, the bear would be centered in the frame which is not ideal. |

Richard, nice family portrait of mother black-necked stilt and 2 chicks, however; one of them is hidden by mother and only visible are the legs which makes the image slightly awkward with 4 legs. I agree with Bruce's crop, made the horizonthal straight, removed the extra pair of legs and added real state to the front of the birds so they can have space to move into. |
