Ian, the image has a mystery feel with the face darker that the dress. Agree with Guy about the bright spot on her shoulder. In spite of the poor illumination you created a peak of action image. No noise with an ISO of 5000 |

Vella, there was a good selection of architecture to photograph, and good correction of perspective. The interest in this image is that each window is different. The image is sharp, and the colors are intense. |

Guy, your seagull is making sure that his message goes across with his tongue completely visible. He/she seems to be in tight quarters with no room to go to. This was fixed with generative expand in photoshop. He/she is now more at ease. Image is sharp and nice colors. |

Gary, great composition, beautiful colors and very sharp. The wind was in your favor, only minimal motion blur in one of the palm trees on the right of the frame (my right). |

Jerry, indeed a beautiful bird. I photographed them last year in Colombia. The image is sharp. Perhaps adding a little more light bring out more color and detail in the feathers. For pure nature salon nothing else can be done. Here we can use the magic of photoshop and improve the background. Added some more canvas so the bird does not look tight. Also, I like it flipped. |

Gloria, indeed you were fortunate to photograph this gull variety. I did some research myself and the black billed gull has indeed a narrow and completely black bill and grey plumage which seems not to be the case. Using a bird recognition app calls this gull as the Silver Gull which is also endemic in Australia an New Zealand. Perhaps this may be it with matting plumage since the normal plumage is also grey. Anyway, it is a good image of a gull. I felt that it was too tight with no room for the bird to fly into, and his standing pole is not straight. With the generative function in photoshop it was corrected, and to me it looks better flipped. |

Kathy, great image of mama and chicks. Once in our wetlands there was a mama duck with 15 ducklings. She kept loosing a couple from week to week probably to the predators and the alligators in the large pond. Image is sharp. |

Kathleen, your attempt to make the image straight cost you quite a bit of the real state, placing the bike and rider amputated in front of the frame and with no space to ride into. In any case, I prefer the original in color, and using Photoshop Generative fill and adding some light to the subject, this is the end result. |

Bruce your surgical skills passed the test (or I must say the generative Fill did). The door brakes the symmetry, but the image is in the eyes of the beholder. Interesting architecture. |

Pinaki, interesting juxtaposition of the blurred passing by person in contrast with the other women sitting on the rim of the window inside what looks like a bar. The colors inside the room are odd caused by the illumination. |

Bev, looks like an artist is teaching the youngsters. Safed is a religious colony where it is said the Kabbalah started. The image has a peculiar texture with areas of overexposure and also a peculiar color not quite sepia. |

Don, obviously you are fast and produce these images with the players in the air. I am surprised that the players are sharp with only 1/1250 shutter speed, and little noise with an ISO of 12,800. |

Gerald, I see a good panning here with the background and the wheels blurred by the speed, but the bike and rider are sharp. Perhaps, if you have the real state, I would add some more space in front of the bike and biker's helmet. |

Bruce, indeed and image at peak of action. Image is sharp. I find it a little dark so I added a touch of overall exposure which also brings out more color. Great vantage point. Added bonus, the head of the referee is framed by her arms. |

Andre, it is obvious that you like environmental sport images, whereby the subject represents only a minimal aspect of the frame, well illuminated and involved in a difficult stunt. The image is sharp. Nice contrast of the bicker with the very dark background, and of course, you have total "control" of a very difficult set up to illuminate. |

Maria, great capture at peak of action. The quality of the image is what is because the magnum crop you did from an only 24 megapixels file. The bird represents about 5 % on the frame and you brought it to an almost fill the frame image. The early bird gets the large worm. |

Richard, to me it is a very tight crop, my guess is that you did not want to show the aquatic plants. That was an easy fix with Photoshop. Overall, the whole bird just about to catch a fish is the story of the image, therefore I think we need to show it completely and in the environment. |
