Ian, please say hi to Javier, my paisano next time you see him. undoubtedly these ethnic outfits are very elaborated and full of color and very likely related to religious activities. I agree with Gary that the "studio" they gave you was not the best to bring out all the beauty and color of the indigenous outfits. |

Guy beautiful land scape of the church and the residential areas with lots of green. The shining sun light created nice shadows in the foreground. The image is sharp. |

Bill, you elected a very artistic set-up. I am assuming that the background is a black cloth given by the wrinkles and the shadows created by the illumination. The image is sharp. My curiosity wants to know what did you ask to Grok3? |

Eric, here we are entering into the field of PJ of human interest. I am not sure if he is blind, or just expecting a tip for his musical performance, and the dog adds content to the image. It is impossible to avoid amputating people in the background from that vantage point. Image is sharp. |

Vella, nice sun burst effect, but it contains a lot of chromatic aberration created by the glass in the lens. I added some light to the dark areas, unfortunately it increases the chromatic aberration but you can see more detail in the darks. Patagonia is a photographers paradise. |

Gary, interesting set-up. Goes well in B&W. Compositionwise, well done. A few of the words are complete so it is a linguistic lesson. |

Grace, this is a beautiful bird which we do not see in South Florida. You gave us several options of cropping/presentation. The image is sharp. There is nothing wrong with a uniform and non distracting background, in fact is desirable. With a combination of a good selection, then inverse the selection and with the cloning tool at 0 hardness you can obtain this image. |

Sarita, yes the White Egret in breeding time puts a whole. display of the deluxe plumage and they put a whole dance by long stretches of the neck and then crunching down to again stretch for several repetitions to attract the female. The white plumage contrasts very nicely agains the very green vegetation. You state that the ISO was 11400 but there is very little noise. Obviously Topaz does a very good job. |

Jerry, this is another variety of birds that we do not see in South florida. It is a nice capture but it would not do good in a salon since it is hanging on a man made structure, and there should not be any evidence of man intervention to be a pure nature image. It has an interesting body position, ready to take off. I reduced the brightness and now you can see more detail and color in the feathers. |

Gloria, beautiful bird, unfortunately it is overpowered by the intricate vegetation and also is looking away from you. In this circumstances I usually use burst to capture as many images as he bird allows me before it fly's away, so you can at least capture an image where the bird is looking to the camera. It is a variety that we do not see here in South Florida. I have seen them in Costa Rica and Colombia, but are somehow different. |

Spoonbill in matting/breeding colors, just capture a little fish. It is interesting as how they move their neck from side to side in a semicircular fashion while vacuum cleaning for minnows, which seems to have caught. The image is sharp, and the colors are very intense. |

Gerhard, this variety of Heron is not available in North America. The only bird that may have some resemblance with is is the Amrican Bittern. I like his position and looks that he just missed or already swallowed the little fish given by the stream of water falling from his beak. Image is sharp, and the colors are very vivid. |

Tom, I just spend the weekend photographing at the Alligators Farm in St Augustin. I have been there several years during matting season, but I have never seen so many tricolor herons and snowy egrets setting up nests. The next few weeks are going to be photographers' smorgasbord with the chicks. Some of the nests are at arms distance. Indeed, your image is at peak of action. |

Pinaki, my guess is that some people like to share their artistic possessions which this may be the case. We do not know if this is a real antique or just a modern reproduction of one. Or perhaps is a private museum. Because you acquired the image looking up and from a not the best vantage point, it does not look straight. Image is sharp. |

Ed, the fact that the individual is walking away from the camera (home or somewhere else) adds some degree of suspense to the image, where is he going, what is in the bag he is carrying ? You did a good B&W interpretation of the color version. The path he is walking on, creates a leading line towards the mysterious back. |

Kathleen, nice example of street photography for sura, but I am puzzled as why you decapitated all but two individuals in the frame. An amputation must look intentional, but I do not think that here is the case. Here, I prefer the color version, however, slightly overexposed. |

Tom, I am always impressed by the arms strength and agility of these athletes. For sure this is an unusual capture from the right vantage point in a position and holding to what looks like a long stick. Obviously, he missed the jump. Image is sharp. |

Gerald, it is indeed an interesting image and action not normally seen, but I think it would depend on the mood of the judge. Even though it is peak of action, the fact that the face is completely covered by the pouring water out of the helmet may degrade the image. To me is a great image as I said before. It is sharp. |

Ronald, since I have been photographing a couple of Rugby games here in South Florida, I have become more interested in the sport and reading about its "Laws" (I was talking with a veteran rugby player with a very strong Irish accent, in one of the games and asking him about the rules. He corrected me stating that they are laws).
I like this image since in addition to show a couple of players and a good kick, gives us some of the environment as well. |

Andre, there is no question in my mind that you are the master of the outdoors illumination in active sports. I see that you have the tendency to create your images with a large environmental proportion which overpowers the athlete. Here I like as how the bushes frame the cyclist. Perhaps a tighter crop will make the athlete stand out more. Also made the horizon straight. |

Adrian, I am sure that this cruise must have been very photographic productive. The Sloth's as you said, are not very active. In fact, they spend most of the day sleeping up in the trees. It was good that the face was not covered by the branches and that you can see the whole body and four extremities. The image is sharp. |

Richard, when photographing birds, it is always good to try to go as far down as you can, and if possible like in this case that the birds are sitting, move around to avoid overlapping birds (not so easy to do, but...)The image is sharp. There is interaction of two of them. agree with Bruce's crop. |

Bruce, this is a WOW image, I do not think the wolf is scaring the Raven away, it looks like he is trying to catch it (nice snack). The wolf's face is very expressive and shows intention. The image is sharp and the white's are well managed. |
