4 Feb 25 Reply Bill, interesting crop indeed. Feb 18th
4 Feb 25 Reply Guy, yes I am. I have not lost my title !! Feb 10th
4 Feb 25 Comment Bill, another super wide angle/vertical panorama created using an iPhone. What a magnificent photographic machine. My eyes were telling that the roof was a bit off center so I had to convince myself, which indeed it is, so using the magic of photoshop, I fixed it. Very sharp and interesting image. I just wonder what is that sign on the right lower corner that reads PS Express ?? Feb 8th
4 Feb 25 Comment Ian, another great image of Magaly. Interesting the strong blu back light and reflecting on her dress creates a sense of transparency. You were able to freeze her movement. Feb 7th
4 Feb 25 Comment Erik, WOW !! for all the reasons described and for this unique view of the monument valley. Gave it a touch of dehaze for the view, and a touch of light to the shadows to see a little of the details in the Teardrop Arch. Feb 7th
4 Feb 25 Comment Vella, the king fisher is in a hunting position and ready to fly towards the fish. I cropped it slightly tighter and removed the blemishes. Gave a little more light to the face/eye area Feb 7th
4 Feb 25 Reply Gary, this image would not do very good in a nature competition since the duck is going away from you and giving a slight butt shot. Would do better if the duck is coming towards you. It is a nice and sharp image anyway. Feb 7th
4 Feb 25 Comment Guy, great architecture image and very sharp.I like the reflections in the water, and the fact that they are slightly darker than the real image which adds some mystery. The slight distortion by the moving water adds interest. Feb 7th

15 Feb 25 Comment Grace, spoonbills are a treat to photograph. I have nothing additional to add to what has been expressed. Feb 22nd
15 Feb 25 Reply I used a ground pod to hold the camera + heavy lens Feb 22nd
15 Feb 25 Reply Gloria, many times less is more. Feb 14th
15 Feb 25 Comment Kathy, the American Bitter is a very skittish bird, and this one seems to be interested in something. The Orlando Wetlands is becoming a bird photographer must stop. The image is sharp, and the colors are very vivid. Feb 8th
15 Feb 25 Comment Sarita, beautiful display of its feathers and showing off to his mate. Image is sharp and nicely composed with no background distractions. Nice partial reflection. Feb 7th
15 Feb 25 Comment Jerry, very good image of a BIF and sharp. Nice colors. The open beak adds interest to it. Nice sky and clouds contrasting with the crane's colors. Feb 7th
15 Feb 25 Comment Gloria, the image indeed denotes a very busy wetland and the only bird that is in real focus and standing out is the stork with the pink feathers, which we can see better in your additional image. The image itself is also very busy which distracts somehow with so much information to visualize. Feb 7th
15 Feb 25 Comment Gerhard, interesting bird. It looks like the purple gallinulas that we have here in the US but with different feathers color. Image is sharp. With the equipment you used, it was shot at 1200 mm. Nice ripples in the water. Feb 7th

58 Feb 25 Reply Pinaki, therefore has more photographic value. Feb 17th
58 Feb 25 Reply Thank you for the clarification. I thought it was an unique place. Feb 8th
58 Feb 25 Comment Kathleen, indeed a very elaborated and interesting French fence with the added gift of the incidental photographer which adds interest to the image. Here gain your trademark quasi sepia color fits very well. I made the verticals straight. Feb 7th
58 Feb 25 Comment Ed, it is obvious that some photographers are having a good time. The image shows a lot of paraphernalia available to photograph. he image is sharp and shows a good DOF. Feb 7th
58 Feb 25 Comment Bruce, indeed your main image shows a Palenquera in a different state, and not showing off their outfits and colors for the tourist, in Cartagena Colombia. I personally went to the town of Palenque which is about 1 1/2 hour drive away hoping to find a lot of color and more. What a disappointment to say the least. Only found precarious housing, dirt and mud streets, pigs inside the houses and so on. It is important to point out that this town was the first to brake from slavery in the new continent. Feb 7th
58 Feb 25 Comment Pinaki, I have seen images of this location which are very interesting due to the way the stairs are build, creating multiple geometric and symmetric areas. It is obvious the effect of the elements on the structure. The presence of people adds interst and brakes the monotony. Feb 7th
58 Feb 25 Comment Bev, it looks like it is a very sunny and warm day, and the man is trying to refresh himself. Obviously the vendors are promoting products derivative from the coconut and nicely displayed. The vendor seems happy, perhaps after the sale. Feb 7th

59 Feb 25 Reply Thank you Don. Great sequence. Feb 18th
59 Feb 25 Comment Don, I believe that the falling and flipping of the blue player would have told the story in a stronger fashion. Interesting image anyway. Feb 17th
59 Feb 25 Comment Tom, I second everybody on welcoming you to group 59. I have no additional comment to add to what has already being said. Great image, and the big guy has total control to say the least. Agree with Bruce's crop. Feb 7th
59 Feb 25 Reply Ronald, I did not sharpen or blurred anything in the image. Please note that it was created using a zoom 100-400 mm @ 330 mm which compresses the elements in the image. It is as is. I left the spectators to add context to the image. Feb 7th
59 Feb 25 Comment Ronald, very elegant end of swing. Image is sharp. The presence of three players (odd number) adds interest, and the way the other two women are following the trayectory of the golf ball. Feb 3rd
59 Feb 25 Comment Gerald, this guy is a good skimmer for sure. The sequence of the images complements the story. Great vantage point as you describe. In the main image I like how the water frames the guy after what looks like a difficult maneuver. Feb 3rd
59 Feb 25 Comment Andre, you are indeed the master in flash illumination. Great shot. I like the sunset light in the background. I am surprised that they are still jumping in the dark. Feb 3rd
59 Feb 25 Comment Bruce, the clown is ready for a direct hit. The dust makes the image more interesting adding some degree of mystery as how is going to end up. Image is sharp. Feb 3rd

72 Feb 25 Comment Maria, nice sharp peak of action image of the Avocet in a non distracting environment in spite of the super crop. Here, I also think the crop is too tight not giving enough room for the bird to move into. I just added some canvas and took the bird off center. Feb 8th
72 Feb 25 Reply Richard, even if you want to show some eye-catching variation of the original, the crop is excesive not allowing the bird to move anywhere. Feb 8th
72 Feb 25 Comment Richard, nice reflections on the three elements in the frame, with frozen action. Unfortunately the elements are soft which takes away points of the score where it be used in a photo salon. The sky with clouds reflected in the water adds interest to the image. Feb 8th
72 Feb 25 Comment Bruce, thank you for the added information. Africa is so vast, that even in the national Parks there are poachers, and elephants are # 1 in their list for the ivory. Lovely group of elephants. Image is sharp. Interesting add on the little bird in front of the elephant on the left. Feb 8th
72 Feb 25 Comment Maria, never under estimate the complexity of simplicity. This is a very good example of a minimalistic image. Sharp, beautiful shadows. The steps on the snow adds interest to it, or perhaps fpor others will be considered distractions... Feb 8th
72 Feb 25 Comment Adrian, indeed a great capture. They are very fast. Image is sharp even after this magnum crop, and the colors are outstanding. Feb 8th
72 Feb 25 Reply Richard, this group happened to be there. There is only minimal cropping. Feb 6th
