Vella, the "sign" on top is a gigantic TV screen which displays the fight in real time for the people seating on the bleachers. |

Gary, yes they will survive being fed by the mother. Occasionally one of the siblings would hurt the weakest link. The other option to survive is not to fall from the nest and become an alligator's snack. |

Guy, thank you !! and before anything, I hope you get full recovery ASAP. This is a lovely Iris, and well PP. Very sharp and good non distracting background. I did reduce the brightness and added a touch of texture and now we see a lot more detail in the flower. |

Bill, who is your stage setup person ? This time the sink is completely out of place. What else could be more confusing than finding the sink hanging on a window's guard. Indeed the white sink dominates the image. Everything is super sharp and the B&W interpretation is very appropriate. |

Ian, I can hear the roar of the engine and feel the strong vibrations indeed. Image is sharp and really denote high speed. The presence of the second boat in the back implies it is a race. Well done |

Erik, Mom is feeding the kids in an orderly fashion, and there is no pandemonium of them trying to pick on each others eyes or the eyes on Mom in a desperate way. The image is very sharp, and the colors are well handled and not saturated. I find the green branch to be obstructing and distracting. There is enough information in the image for a tighter crop, still showing the essence of it. |

Gary, indeed a busy class with a large group of people. You created the image at one peak of action where all the participants have a ball up with the right arm and in synchrony. Your vantage point gave you the opportunity to accomplish this which otherwise could not be obtained at ground level. |

Vella, this is an interesting image given by the strong contrast in the B&W interpretation. Zebras tend to help each other in scratching their back. The image is sharp and the crop brings up the attention to the juxtaposition of the animals. |

Gloria, welcome to our group. We do not see this variety of Gulls in Florida. I like that you created a high key image. The bird is sharp but the rock it is standing on overpowers the bird and takes away prevalence. I added some light to the shadows and cropped it. Some people may think that the out of focus flying birds are distracting. I do not. |

Jerry, the GBH is sharp but the grass in front of him is competing very strongly and taking away protagonism of the bird. Also, as a side note we do not see the complete legs. The black smudge on the left upper quadrant is also distracting as is the greenery on the water. Sometimes getting low helps to avoid some of these distractions, and of course, to walk the image until you do not include the grass if possible. |

Kathy, this is the first time I See this species of birds. I understand that they are originally from Africa, and are also known as Banana Eaters. It is amazing the variety of feathers colors. You capture it in a kind of interesting pose, showing off all the colors and looking at you to get your raection. Image is sharp. |

Ed, as you said, people and animals are used to navigate even on a standing position and with no safe devices. I like the B&W as well as the color version, and I believe your crop is more as to include all the boat reflections in the water but creates a large empty space (at least to me). My crop would be as adjusted |

Ed, I also did the B&W interpretation and forgot to upload, but yes it really adds interest to the image. I like the color version as well which shows the palette of colors of the delapidated and abandoned structures in Cuba since the revolution in 1959. |

Kathleen, the real decisive moment in spite of the fact that the woman has her eyes closed, which makes the image more interesting. Good handling of the DOF being everything in focus. I made the verticals straight and darkened slightly the statue of the lion |

Bev, I get your intention of recording the young lady while she is getting her pre-wedding photos, but she is looking completely away from the camera and sitting in a very illuminated area creating some degree of overexposure and lack of details of her dress. I have done the same but I try to move and be able to get the subject looking forward, not neccesarily to my camera but still we can get the whole face. |

Don, dancing is active body movement therefore a sort of a sport. She is lying down in a sort of a sexy pose. The stage illumination has a very strong pink-beige hue. I tried to correct it by the auto color and auto tone sliders in Photoshop. It improved some how but not completely to my taste, so using silver Effex I made it into B&W and now the image shows better the rim light and contrast. Also made the horizonthal straight |

Ronald, thank you for the elaborated explanation since without it, it is an image of a bunch of men trying to get or defend the ball. First time I hear about Australian Rules, and it is pandemonium on the field. Image is sharp and the player with the ball stands out over the buch. |

Hans, this indeed is a different vantage point. We are used to see flying planes taken from below. Agree with Ronald that it seems you are also in another plane at the same level. The plain is sharp, and the propellers show movement. |

Heather, I find this image full of triangles formed by the wood and the water, and the presence of an odd number of turtles also forming a triangle, all of which make the image very dynamic. I do not mind that the turtle in the background is not completely sharp and looking away from the frame. |

Barbara, it is always very rewarding to be able to photograph these critters in real life and environment. The bee is very sharp. I find a yellow hue on the bee which makes it less relevant. I did crop the image tighter to make it stand out and removed the yellow hue as well. |

Bruce, indeed the amount of brown bears that we can see at Katmai National Park in Alaska is impressive. They are so busy catching salmon which are in abundance that they just do not care about us humans. In fact; in our visit one mama bear brought her three cubs near us since she new that other male bears would not come close because of us and the cubs would be safe, and she went on to catch more salmon. We did not get to go to Brooks Falls since the waiting time to use the photography platform was two years. Go and figure
Your image is at peak of action. It is sharp. I think that the edge is to close and creates some tension. Using the magic of Generative function in photoshop, I added some real state to the front.
