Gary, I have been there a few times, and not always you are provided with a nice sunrise. The weather Gods not listen to us..You created a sharp image with well balanced colors. I noticed that you included some ground in the foreground. I do not think I ever considered that |

Erik, you did it again. I have not had the luck of seeing a mother gator with the offsprings near and on top on her. For me the main subject here is the little guy in the foreground which is vey sharp, and mom and brother or sister in the back, complement the mage. |

Vella, interesting covered bridge. I have a whole collection of the covered bridges in Pennsylvania. I like the way you were able to bring out the colors in the dark areas of the covered section. In these cases, I normally would use a 3 or 5 frames bracketed exposures to capture all the details and colors of the darks and highlights, and preferable with the camera on a tripod. |

Guy, which one of the psychedelic chemicals did you use this time. I like very much how you placed the flying statues in different angles, and the one coming out of the C. Image is sharp, and the colors are vivid |

Bill, great creation and excellent sky replacement. Now; I think that the thick layer of clouds is competing with the main subject, the Bristlecone Pine is not standing out as it should. I agree with Guy in reference to the pure blue sky, but again; it is in the eyes of the beholder. It is a nice composition, and it is very sharp. I would love to see the original image |

Ian, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush or as we say in Spanish it is more one bird in your hand, than 100 flying. You were quick and you got it. Interesting group of people and the best part is that they all posed, unfortunately looking away from you. Great capture nonetheless. |

Ian, the secret of these silhouetted images is patience and taking a lot of images until you get separation of the people from each other and from the obstructing elements in the frame. I see that s couple of your peers suggested and did clone out the one in the front (all moving in the same direction). |

Gloria, very elaborated wood sticks indeed. The man with the red beard seems undecided with respect what stick to choose, and I am guessing that the other man is the he creator. Your vantage point was appropriate since you have included lots of main subjects. The DOF is good since everything is in focus. I think that he flag on the left is intrusive and distracting, but cropping it would take away lots of sticks. |

Bruce, Interesting juxtaposition of the kids on the tree and the Washington Monument (it is notable visible in your original, did you create a composite ?) I have been there but many years ago. I do not remember seeing this tree, but there were hundreds of trees, and thousands of people the day I went. Indeed the cherry blossoms in peak flowering is an expectacle to the eyes |

Ed, Margarita Island used to be a beach and shopping paradise until Chavez took government, and since it has gone down hill. Now they have mosques, and terrorist training camps run by the Iranians. The woman's face expression, she is in deep thought. The Church look minimalist with no major and exotic/expensive/gold decorations. |

Gerald, this is another great surfing image of an experienced guy. I like the way he is squatting on the board and the wave closing over him. It is sharp and with plenty space to surf into. |

Kerry, full action shot. I agree with Hans in keeping the second rider, and now there is a triangle formed by the two riders and the man with the flag. Also like Hans crop. The image is sharp. Harsh light with pronounced shadows. |

Bruce, you can not ask anything more to this image: sharp, perfect background, million dollar face expressions and all feet off the ground |

Ronald, good panning image considering the circumstances. The background is blurred, and the runner not so much, whom is not a young person anymore. The sign in the background is collateral damage only avoidable by changing vantage point. |

Hans, this is rough waters indeed. The man is maneuvering to keep afloat, and it is good that the paddle is not blocking his face. The image is sharp |

Mary, great capture of the lioness, however; I think the colors do not look natural. I worked on the original and basically using the auto settings and with the masking brush added some additional light. This is my take |

Adrian, great images of the King Penguins. Yes, I know that it is very difficult to create a clean image without other penguins be in the frame, but I like what you did with your main image, able to bring out detail of the baby being fed. The image is sharp. Your image Original 2 which was touched up by Marie, is also a great image. |

Marie, nice image of the Pileated woodpecker in a resting position, so you show complete detail of the head and beak, with a beautifully colored and not distracting sky which makes the bird stand out. It is very sharp in spite of the major crop and the fact that was taken handheld at 600 mm with only 1/640 sec. Well done. |

Bruce, indeed your lioness has a very beautiful and good teeth. Interesting face language, probably just after jawning but looking directly at you. The image is sharp, and the colors are very bright. Great portrait. The white stroke separates the image from the screen. |

Barbara, quite an interesting and lucky bird since it is being taking care of. It is an unusual bird indeed. It seems to be standing in the roof of a shack of some sort and with a exploratory face language. The image is sharp. |

Maria, The Kestrel are very beautiful and fast raptors. You captured the bird in a kind of hovering position prior to capture "lunch". The image is sharp and the uniform blue background makes the bird stand out. It is sharp. The back light improves the image. |
