Mary Ann, going against your wishes, the center location kind of creates some odd tension. Also your rider is kind of silhouetted so I took the liberty of adding some light to the shadows and crop it. Added a little dehaze as well. |

LuAnn, beautiful image, very sharp, nice colors in spite of the rain. Perhaps you left too much empty space which takes away some of the bold eagle prevalence. A tighter crop would help considerably. |

Guy, this really looks like fish scales, and your composition including the whole gamma of light color reflections, none overexposed was well accomplished. Indeed another architectonical masterpiece by Frank Gehry. It is sharp. |

Joe, interesting collection of color variations of starfishes. It is kind of difficult to orient your vantage point (from above ?) Is this in the natural set on the ocean and the green stuff is seaweed ? they are one on top of the other. It is sharp, and the colors are very vivid. You filled the frame with multiple sea stars. Great capture. |

Erik, what a gift of nature to you guys. This is not the blue hour, this is a display of magenta, blue, pink, orange and purple with touches of black, specially for you. Nice the way the little tree is framed by the clouds. It is sharp. Waiting and patience pays off. |

Vella, another view of the somewhere west location, complementing last month image. Again it is nicely composed, with foreground, mid ground and background, complemented by vey rich clouds. The colors are very vivid, it is sharp. The central valley works a as leading line towards the mountains in the back and the clouds. Your PP was very effective in bringing out detail and colors. |

Bill, I am surprised that you were able to create the image with just one exposure and not with bracketed shots. Your 8 mm fish eye lens was able to capture the whole interior of the church, and I like that you composed the frame with a slight tilt. The interior lamps are not overexposed, and the tinted glass is perfectly illuminated. It is very sharp and lots of detail are present. I found the image a little dark so I added light to the shaded areas and a little of exposure. |

In one of our wetlands in south Florida (Green Cay)a small owl made a nest in one of the trees. There was a group of "protectors" of the bird that were yelling and complaining to any photographer that would use fill flash, Are they not aware that lightning has more lumens that a small flash.... Anyway, they made the park rangers built a fence around the area so you can not come close. |

Bruce, indeed a bodybuilder replenishing after the workout. All the ceiling lamps, which are not overexposed are pointing down and framing him and making his muscular body stand out. The background is muted and not distracting, and the window wood frame also makes him prevail in the image. Good B&W interpretation. |

Hassan, nice beach landscape with all the layers fro a good one including the distanced couple in the front, where the orange outfit stands out, and both of the framed by trees and the fence. Midground created. by the ocean and curved coastline, taking your eyes to the background where the mountains overlap creating a sort of silhouetted image with some mystery and haze, complemented by the clouds. The colors are very vivid and the image is sharp. |

Randy, interesting combination of white sculptures and painted in bright colors ones which goes along with your comment that reminds you of Tim Burton's perspective of things. I am curious about what was the intentions of this group of statues and things and how was labeled at the museum. Obviously you were careful to walk the image so all items al clearly visible. The two oddest of them are the amputated skeleton legs and the caveman in the front. It is sharp. |

Marius, the artist also noticed your presence and is also staring at you. Interesting painting with nice earth colors. The artist is also framed by the support pillars of his stand, of what looks like a street art fair. It is sharp, and nicely composed. |

Daniel, this month image is also framing the three amigos sitting at the doorsteps of the "Archives". Obviously they noticed your presence and are staring at you. They are framed by the glass and metal door and arch. It is sharp and has nice colors. Off center placement in the frame improved the composition. |

Gloria, interesting effect of capturing the woman walking towards you a a silhouette, which adds mystery to the image. The house in the background with the lighted signs gives you more elements for the history. Indeed she is framed twice, first by the dark alley, and secondly by the red brick walls in the foreground. It is sharp. I cropped it to eliminate empty space (extra framing) which does not add but dilutes the image. |

Randy, great capture. The large file from the D850 paid off allowing you to create a very tight crop, and still have enough resolution for detail. Your PP brought out nice colors. I like the way the mother bear is sitting upright and using the fallen tree as support, which also frames de image. The whites (snow) are well handled and not overexposed. |

Thank you Randy. It looks like your image and mine were taken from the same vantage point but you used a wider angle lens, not so Adrian's. I did take my image to Viveza 2 and with one adjustment point reduced the brightness, increased slightly the saturation and added a touch of structure making the colors less washed out but not as dark as Larry's, and not as saturated as Randy's. Now an additional observation. All these images have been created at different times and what I have noticed is that in mine there is probably more erosion and creating a more obvious "monster face" with a big nose, and big teeth's. I added an outline to show it. |

Adrian yes it is OK to submit images created in controlled settings in the Nature + group. The only thing the wolf has left to do is to chew and clean the carcass bones. I like the way you were able to bring out detail and color with your PP, and the snow is perfectly exposed. Image is very sharp. The body language of the wolf is telling you, go away this is my feast. I just wonder how it would look an image with the wolf's whole body. |

Walt, very mysterious image. I am very curious to know how the wreck was illuminated. Light painting ?? Your PP eliminated the distracting light making the wreck prevail in the image. The big dipper is perfectly exposed. I probably would crop slightly to the left of the wreck since there is nothing but empty space. |

Thank you Larry, indeed the colors are more saturated, but I think the shadowed area which was darker due to the time of the day is darker. Most likely a matter of taste. I left the segment of sky to add reference to the greatness of the area. No question about that the site is breathtaking. |

Bruce, indeed this is also an iconic view of the Palouse. You were lucky to encounter beautiful light at the end of the day creating those long shadows of the hills, and very little haze and overcast so you have a good and sharp background. Your PP also improved the image considerably bringing out those intense shades of green, yellow and magenta. Very sharp throughout. I like the leading line created by what looks like a narrow creek |

Marie, your Nikon D850 with its 46 megapixels files allowed you to crop the image to this extent and still preserve detail in the crying dahlia. The two tears which are sort of back lith is the highlight of the image (no pun intended). Your PP, cropping and B&W interpretation created a master piece from a snapshot. |

Jeffrey, nice high key image from a black necked stilt. Yes, I see a lot of noise in the bird, but there is no original image out of camera so you can do a better analysis and recommendations specially if this is a very tight crop (you used a Nikon D850 which gives you a 46 Megapixel file, also on a D850 an ISO of 1400 should not affect that much the image, unless it was very under exposed). In most of the Nature + groups you submit your PP image and the original out of camera for comparison. |
