4 Apr 18 Reply Erik, Here it is Apr 15th
4 Apr 18 Comment Guy, interesting image. I like very much the continuity of the handrail starting on the left upper frame, and then you can follow it and leads you all the way down to the bottom of the staircase. The changing light from one level to the other gives a lot of depth (threedimensionality). The moving downstairs person complements very well the image. Apr 9th
4 Apr 18 Reply Joe, we were in a cruise ship that stated in Italy, cyprus, Israel, Petra and happened to finish in Dubai..... Apr 9th
4 Apr 18 Reply Guy, it looks good, but now on my monitor it has a magenta hue. specially the sky. My monitor may need color recalibration.... Apr 9th
4 Apr 18 Comment Erik, I want to go there, please send me the coordinates. This is a very peaceful and colorful image depicting fall. I love the composition and the shadows created by the late afternoon or early morning light. the roadway works as a leading line towards the house. The colorful branch at the top of the image, really frames the seen. It is very sharp, and the saturation is very good. Apr 6th
4 Apr 18 Comment Joe, I also like to visit and photograph cemeteries when I get a chance. Your image exposes an incomplete skull of somebody that must have died from a head trauma (the doctor in me...) as you can see there is a piece of bone missing on the skull's left side. The shadows and other element inside the crypt (open space) adds mystery to the image. I like the effects of time and exposure to the elements on the walls. In spite of the fact that the crypt is in the middle of the frame, the asymmetry of the changes in the walls balances the image. Apr 6th
4 Apr 18 Comment David, great image of the orange rose. The way you placed the illumination really creates beautiful shadows and gives tridimentionality. It is very sharp, and the invisible black background really works well here. The signature of the artist, complements the image. Apr 6th
4 Apr 18 Comment Ian, lucky you that can come this close to a "sensitive piece of equipment". The illumination and color of the sky really stages the seen for a kind of secret mission ready to take place. The plane is very sharp and well placed in the frame. Well done Apr 6th
4 Apr 18 Comment Bill, very artistic rendition of the Great White Egret indeed. I like the colors and saturation, the background is very muted and non distracting, the bird is placed in the right place in the frame (left side....) and the painterly effect really makes it look a masters painting. Please see group 72 where this month I submitted a Great White Egret in matting colors and plumage (http://psadigital.org/group72/image.php?iid=25705). Apr 6th

58 Apr 18 Comment Indeed the cropping is in the eyes of the beholder!!!! Apr 10th
58 Apr 18 Comment Deborah, great photojournalistic image denoting a tradition. There is a lot going on, but my eyes keep coming back to the pair of girls in very colorful typical Andean dresses and to me they overpower the action of the men on the left going in a circle. The bystanders complement the image as does the Saint with a red rope which they are carrying (Santo somebody...). I agree with you in leaving the clapping hands. The HDR treatment really improved the image compared to the original. Apr 9th
58 Apr 18 Comment Daniel, good catch. Indeed the bull is watching her.... Now, the very white front of the bull including the horns takes my eyes immediately to them, not paying much attention to the woman who is the center of attention. I dimmed down the whites making it less distracting and absorbing, and I personally like the image more flipped. Agree with Jim to darken the background. Apr 6th
58 Apr 18 Comment Gloria, indeed a very busy image with lots of distractions keeping your eyes all over the place. Agree with cropping but not so tight as Jim did, so the attendant still remains on one of the thirds, and since it is a smoke shop I left the incomplete Marll and news signs. Obviously, the man is distracted reading something, and I agree with moving closer and get more of the man's. Apr 6th
58 Apr 18 Comment Jim, in general I like the context of your image showing the central point which is the cowboy with the baby in his hands. He and the baby are sidelited with nice shadows. Now the horse and the rider whose boot is partially amputated, take half of the frame and foreground creating some tension. The background represented by the cattle and riders (one of which is right at the edge, also creating tension)so I cloned him out rather that cropping. Also flipped the image. Apr 6th
58 Apr 18 Comment Hassan, I pretty much agree with Dan and Jim's comments and I did crop out the lady on the right of the frame since being so close to the edge creates tension, plus being away from the central action. I also made the image straight (the verticals).Additionally, added some light to the shadows and now we see more detail on the people's face, and added contrast. Good Black and white interpretation. Really depict movement on the street (bus and people). Apr 6th
58 Apr 18 Reply Good point. Thanks Jim Apr 6th

72 Apr 18 Comment Bruce, very sharp and nicely composed image. Good cropping. The removal of the green grass improved the image. Only suggestion: flip it and added a slight vignette. Apr 15th
72 Apr 18 Comment Abhijeet, You captured the One horned Rhino in its natural environment. Now you just used 150 mm of your 600 mm lens, therefore so much open space. You were able to bring out a lot of color and detail in your PP, but still there is a lot of open space in your crop. I think that a tighter crop brings prevalence to the Rhino and also gets you a perspective about size, compared to the two black birds, still shown the creature in its natural environment. The path also works as a nice leading line Apr 6th
72 Apr 18 Comment Mary, really interesting image of anemones (are they ??, excuse my ignorance). The original by it self is a very colorful and detail organism of the ocean. It is sharp and the orange section is the center of attention. Now, the Kaleidoscope rendition is just magnificent. Yes, I would also like to have a copy of the .pdf with the instructions. Apr 6th
