4 Jun 17 Reply Thanks for your comments !!! Jun 19th
4 Jun 17 Reply Guy, very clever adjustment. I like it. As Joe said, I would never have thought of it !! Jun 12th
4 Jun 17 Comment Bill, great composition and post management of the colors and sharpness. It looks like "There is light at the end of the tunnel" which is framed by the Spanish moss and led by the path. The colors are very vivid. Indeed Viveza is a great tool, and it already does not work on the new version of the Mac OS. It is already missed. Of course, I like the image a lot more flipped. Jun 11th
4 Jun 17 Comment Bill, very sharp and well light painted orchids with no evidence of overexposure at any level. It is very well composed, and every flower is individually displayed with no distracting background. Jun 11th
4 Jun 17 Comment Joe, nice image of a very busy Monet's bridge and pond which is very contrasting by the presence of many people with umbrellas. The rain is very obvious when you enlarge the image a little. The multiple red raincoats and umbrellas give dynamism to the image and contrasts with the green. It is sharp. I cropped a little from the right of the frame to remove the black figure, to offset the bridge away from the middle of the image. Jun 11th
4 Jun 17 Comment Erik, nice panorama of the area. The post manipulation created a pleasant image of a city/condo scape. The colors are vivid and bright. The image is sharp, and the palm trees complement the landscape. The size of the buildings is in decrescendo and rom left to right. Jun 11th
4 Jun 17 Comment Guy, very nice B&W interpretation of the image. It was created from a very good vantage point, allowing you in your composition, to use the staircase as a frame to the car. It is very sharp, and there are no distracting elements in the frame. To my eyes, it looks better flipped. The best camera is always the one that you have with you at a given time. Jun 11th
4 Jun 17 Comment Hi Ian, first; congratulations on your image showcased this month by the PSA. This image resembles a "transformer" from the back, and with a crown. It is very sharp, the illumination brings out detail in the structure specially what looks like a long back bone (spine) which works as a leading line. The colors are vivid. Last but not least; " you keep flipping" !!! Jun 11th

58 Jun 17 Reply Agree, but this is not an easy task. Very difficult selection to make it look "natural" Jun 28th
58 Jun 17 Reply Ed, this is also a good interpretation of the scene. Jun 28th
58 Jun 17 Comment Dan, interesting image of an older couple and a young woman, most likely a granddaughter, however; not well equipped by the right shoes for the task. The older couple are enjoying the view as it can be seen in the facial expressions. The younger member does not seem to be very exited about it. As is usual in today's era, she has her smart device on her hand (do not leave home without it...) The rocks going from the upper left to the lower right frame the three persons very well. It is sharp, and the colors are well balanced. Jun 25th
58 Jun 17 Comment Mofassirul, this is very happy image of a young boy with a big smile and looking at you while you were photographing him. The f stop used created a blurred background which is not distracting except for the orange figure in the middle which I removed. Now, from your story there is no evidence that he indeed was on a boat or on the water, but that does not affect the image, but doest not correlate to the title of the image. I also decreased the brightness slightly and added some light to his darkened face. Jun 11th
58 Jun 17 Comment Liz, this is an interesting journalistic image of a social and cultural event. It is very well attended as we can see by the multitude of people. I like the big kite which resembles a dragon. After I decreased the brightness and whites, and increased the clarity, it makes the clouds more obvious, and framing a piece of blue sky, which seems to be an open door for the kite to scape the scene. I also cropped it a little bit to move the kite off center. Jun 11th
58 Jun 17 Comment Gloria, I like the body language of the woman, and the way she is showing off all her accessories (aka jewelry). It is unfortunate the presence of the other two individuals, one with a hat behind her and one that is barely shown, which are distracting. Due to the nature of the background it will be almost imposible to remove them safely. Perhaps moving towards the left, or waiting for them to move out of the frame would make it a better composition, but; this is not always possible. Street photography many times, you have to shoot from the hip !! Jun 11th
