Thanks for everyone's comments. Stan is correct I prepared the image for a nature contest so I followed the rules and considered the story more important. Probably my hang up. I'll give another look at the composition as suggested. Again, thanks. |

Fall colors are wonderful. Perhaps I'm stuck on cropping this round but I would consider cropping in a bit further to increase emphasis on the yellow and reds but eliminating the some rocks and ripples. I like the leading line created by the rocks but I don't think it helps focus on the subject which I assume is the fall color. |

Really nice rendition of Cathedral rock. Catching a puddle for the reflection was perfect (and probably difficult to do in our desert environment). Perhaps adjusting the Rock color to match the reflection would be helpful but it's a nice image as it stands. |

Really nice image of a nesting bird. Perhaps cropping a little higher to take attention away from the cut branches & cropping in to minimize over exposed areas would likely benefit focus on the bird in the image. |

Really nice image. My eye is first attracted to the boat but the brown/green grass and cloud draw me upward then back to the boat. Great use recognition of colors and contrast. |
