Thanks Norm, You are correct. I was trying to keep the exposure the same between the darker interior of the apartment and the bright city scene but in reality I don't think it matters when doing an overlay. |

Also a mid-life image after the revolution settled and they were again teaching at the University. The shorter girl (named Dan Jun) is now my wife. After living under Communism and Freedom of the USA she has become very opposed to Communism. |

Thanks Stan, This also was part of a photo book. In the series I was able to get the attached image of the early life when they married. |

Nice image in a very dark setting. I likely would have used shadows and/or mid-tone adjustment to lighten the shadow on the insect slightly more. |

Marcela, Nice sharp image even including his tale. I wouldn't do much to the photo unless you could bring his tail out a little more even though it gets caught in the depth of field. |

Wonderful image Norm. I love the apparent joy on her face, truly enjoying her modeling. John's suggestion to remove the wisps of hair would be helpful but they really don't seem to distract. |

Stan, great treatment of the image. You really brought out the key elements giving the colors good vibrancy. Perhaps a polarizing lens would have helped with the window reflection if you were in the right position. Actually the street markings don't bother me but then I expect them to be there. |

John, you do great with monochromes. This one is fine but Stan and Norm are probably right about the Ansel Adams type Dark Sky's (he often used filters in his work). I like your treatment with rain cloud on the left and on the right waves balancing the cloud. |
