I agree with you Tracy the image does seem to be a vintage candidate so I tend to favor your treatment in monochrome, sepia should also work. The rocks and grass seem to create a diagonal line through the image but doesn't lead to your subject. Perhaps a little cropping as Stan suggested or use of a vignette to force the eye to the gas pump. |

I love seeing your work. Composition is nice with the horses bringing my eye in from the left. John seems correct the colors feel a little oversaturated but likely just reflect the time of year. |

The God Rays are real attention getter. My eye went straight to them then broadened out to the rest of the image. I rather like it as it is |

Really nice landscape. Going the extra step to include forground is a real pluss. |

A nice backlit image. Leveling the image is probably a good addition, as Harriet & Stan suggested. Working the midtone and shadows slider combination may help the image pop a little more. |

Nice Monochrome John, Good visualization of lines and shapes. For me a darker sky (Ansel Adams like) and increasing Highlights and sharpness a bit make it more dramatic. Regardless of everyone's personal taste it is a nice image. |
