Very imaginative Tracy. I like the red white and blue for the nations holiday. Congratulations on an ingenious way of expressing the USA colors. The seed color on the original white really doesn't bother me but if concerned some processing software allows selecting and adjusting a specific color. |

The spider did a great job holding position for a 1/5 sec exposure. I assume it was not a hand held shot. If given the chance you may also look as a second shot after spraying a fine mist of water. Not a criticism because you capture a improbable image at an amazingly slow shutter speed just a second way to look at the image. Using a mist may not work at all if the spider runs for cover but it might be worth a try. |

Great shot of the window at Elis Island. It really is a striking depiction for anyone familiar with thee purpose of Elis Island creating both a successful immigration as well as the heart break of a failed attemp. The subtle browns really make me feel the somber character of the facility.

You really got it right in the camera. it looks like minimal processing for an image that was well captured. I don't know snap seed but the head crest could be brought out a bit with more using local sharpening and vibrance since there isn't a way to separate the head crest from the tail feathers. Regardless it is a lovely image with some great colors. |

The reflection is a wonderful part of the image even improving the appearance of the clouds. I think having the image centered is a good presentation. It balances the image and reflection nicely. Use of an ND 10 may work as a test to see if you like the effect. |
