I love these old buildings, but the problem is that in these day and age they are demolished so quickly. You have done well to find this. The quality of this is superb, everything sharp and detailed showing interest in different parts of the image which you could scan for ages seeing things of interest i.e. What are the marks on the Mobile sign, Is the paintwork eating away. Is that an original CCTV (?} appliance on the roof on the right etc., etc., As for improvements I feel the sky area immediately above the sign needs toning down a bit
and also perhaps the top righthand corner. Perhaps you could try a sepia filter to see what the difference. Perhaps that would make it look more aged. All in all a great image with good prospects. Good luck. |

You certainly have an eye for seeing the unusual and this is very nice. I do feel the backdrop of trees (?) with low lying foliage suits the scene off nicely, but also the stick in the middle of the island is very important to the composition. The colouration is subtle and nice that there is no other colour intruding. |

Hope you are feeling better now Nelson and back to normal after your accident.
Here you have made a nice feature of the tree which is laden with leaves and fills the frame from the left, the strong branches leading the foliage through. It acts as canopy for the thin strip of cloud underneath and I would be tempted to crop it there taking out the dark base and leaving it as a nice high key pic. |

What a beauty Julie. Very delicately printed with the appropriate tone. I don't mind the wires as it is all part of what is there. Love the subtle clouds but thought a little more sky above the ship's mast might help. Great scene as it is but thought by eliminating the hut and path on the right, you have another version. Overall you have a very nice image and am slightly envious. When we went on a boat tour of the broads, we weren't taken anywhere near the windmills although we could see them in the distance!!! |

A lovely pano shot very delicately printed. Like how this little settlement with interesting shaped buildings, lies nestling in the rolling hills. Perhaps an inch off the left side would help as there is nothing of interest there. Great little image. |

Love this. Very arty feeling for me with these beautiful, metal like, almost cut in Silver, against the dark background. Enough said, beautiful. |
