thank you Nelson. Good idea about the sky. It is a bit patchy. Neural didn't do a good job with that. |

Thank you for your comments Sharon and you are perfectly correct in what you say. The Neural Filter works on some images better than others, and although you can experiment to an extent with it, I end up finishing off in PS. That having said it is new to me also and I need to give it more use (when I have time)!! With regard to your comment about entering the Book in the PSA contest, I will look into it. Dont expect any winning credit, but it would be interesting to see how it fared. Infrared is not to everyone's taste!! |

I feel you have, as usual, done an excellent job with this. I like the effect you have given which gives a soft, gentle ethereal feel to it which is probably what you wanted. The viewpoint is excellent with the crosses leading through the image diagonally. Perhaps the others suggestions of more sky and removing a bit of the modern building might help. It would have to be tried out to see. As it stands I like it. |

A very interesting outlook on nature. Makes you wonder how and why this got knotted up like - this just like why I feel a knot in my gut when I am 'out of sorts'. Maybe nature is the same and there was something untoward making it this way. I am not familiar with vines, but the bark on this is very treelike so I am looking at a 'tree'. Very mysterious. Well seen. |

This looks a lovely location and I'm sure there are loads to photograph here. You had a great sky on the day and I'm glad you made a feature of it as it is the largest part of the image. I think if you cropped a good proportion of the OOF foliage at the base it would make the image stronger. As there is a fair amount of noise I feel denoising in PS or Topaz would make the already gentle scene even more so. |

OMG This is a very ominous looking forest and I wouldn't like being in there on my own. Very dark. Pretty scary. I feel you have done a lot of work to achieve this look and it certainly creates emotions which is what photography is all about. There is light at the end of the tunnel 'so to speak' as the wood draws you in, but the icing on the cake is the light sky at the top giving hope. |

This does indeed look a very interesting building and I suspect this part visible is perhaps the most interesting and dominant part and I like the fact that it is the part that is visible through the gasp in the trees, almost enticing you to advance towards it to see more. Is this the rear of the building as I cannot see a way in. Must visit next time I am in the area, hopefully once restrictions lift. The Sepia effect is very tasteful and well suited.

A nice clean crisp image Stuart and you did well to add the sky. The feathery clouds are very interesting and not dominant to take interest away from the house. Yes I think a bit off the right and maybe even aa bit of the foreground to conetnrate on the house and the sky. There is nothing of interest in the foreground so the image would benefit from a crop. |

Absolutely correct Terry. Introduced faux colour via Neural filter in PS. Bit hit and miss at times but worth trying out. Never thought of cropping this but again you are right. Will try it out . thank you. |
