No need to worry about the colour in IR Julie. The beauty of it is it isn't realistic anyway so it seems anything goes and in this case your colouring is very pleasing. |

No Terry I hadn't thought of darkening under the table etc., but will try that out. Thank you for the suggestion. Also hadn't noticed the blown out foliage. |

As in your usual style Sharon, this is beautifully processed with a high key effect to it. The backdrop of trees behind the bridge sets off the picture nicely. and the stream leads us into that area under the bridge. I feel that in the embankment areas at either side a little more contrast is needed to hold the scene together and give a little more detail and interest in the grassed areas and brick wall. That is only my opinion that it would improve the scene which is quite beautiful. |

There is a lot going on here Debbie and I can see the Bananas and the, what I presume to be,. flower head hanging down. At first glance I felt it very confusing as there is a lot of similar tones behind then bright backlighting behind them again. However on sitting back and studying it for a bit longer, the composition is stronger and the bananas and flower head become much clearer. Almost got a 3D effect. Just goes to show, images need to be studied and not rushed. the darker leaves on the right are interesting and have a metallic look about them. |

Good for you for trying something different Nelson. I have never tried Macro - Full stop. And certainly not in Infra Red. But to let your imagination run riot you can see something that could be a semblance of ET, or as you say weird creature out of a Sci Fi Film. |

Lovely subtle shades of blues and Greys contrasting with the stronger Ochres of the foreground reeds. There is the semblance of a darker diagonal line on the right
leading through in a curved fashion which seems to lead in the direction of the mill. The mill is slightly softer than the foreground reeds, which gives the image a feeling of depth. Nice image. |

Your efforts were well worth it in my opinion. Great detail and contrast in the whole image. In particular I love the lily pads and grasses at top but the grasses in the bottom corners are a nice touch. The lily pads seem to go in a near triangular shape leading up to the grasses. Great composition. |
