35 Jan 21 Reply Thanks for your comments Debbie. I'm not the only one having trouble then. I believe the last update for CLir had all included in the panel and you just need to make a dng in RAW. It works to an extent but I think I preferred the original version of producing LUTs but maybe I'm doing something wrong. Not very technical and not totally understanding. Hope things improve over there in all respects. I had my vaccine jab today so partially protected. Need a second but there is still a huge problem with deaths and new cases. Jan 14th
35 Jan 21 Comment What a tale you have to tell here Debbie of your walking trip. Must have been a bit scary when you realised you were lost. I think I have to agree with you that the image is a bit soft and I feel that your frog rock with foliage would benefit from being sharper, but considering your circumstances, you have done a good job to get something out of your day. There are some lovely trees as a backdrop and from frog rock up, perhaps a square image would look good. To my taste the Blue base is not helping the image and I would tend to crop out, but on the day you found something attractive in the water. Jan 11th
35 Jan 21 Comment A lovely delicate IR image with good tonal range. Very clever to add the water which does not show in your original. It Gives added interest. Nice sky. Jan 11th
35 Jan 21 Comment Well this is a bit different and not associated with typical IR. A real grot shot I would call it and well suited to the
treatment you have given it. It does not give me a good feeling at all. I feel encaged in a dark and dangerous place with no way out, which makes this a successful image when it can bring these feelings to the surface. Well done for doing something different.

35 Jan 21 Comment Do like the Manor House snuggling in the trees and what a beautiful tree in the foreground. You just could not take this image. I feel your work to produce a nice sky has paid off and I feel the cows at the base balance off the image nicely. How lucky to have them there!! I think I would be tempted to just crop about 2 cms off the bottom, but otherwise a lovely, as you say, typical English country scene, well seen! Jan 11th
35 Jan 21 Comment This looks a wild and dramatic landscape Stuart. Your processing has given a good mono rendition showing good detail of the interesting rocky outcrop and wild sea. You have just proven that IR is not all foliage and sunshine and successful images can be achieved in different types of weather conditions. Worth experimentation. I feel the image would benefit from more cropping taking a generous section from the sky concentrating more on the lighthouse and foreground as there is no real interest in the sky anyway. There are two very small black dots just above the horizon line on left which could easily be cloned out. All in all a very nice image indeed which would make a nice mono print. Jan 11th
35 Jan 21 Comment This is utterly fantastic in every way. I would not have thought of processing a building like this in such a subtle way but it has worked out very well and has a certain beauty which I would not have thought possible with a building of this bulk and size. You did the correct thing stopping to take this because of the cloudscape, and the way you have processed this, the subtle grey tones of the sky complement the subtle pink tones of the building. Lovely image. Jan 11th
