Looks a nice wood to be walking in Nelson and I can image at a different time of the year there would be plenty to photograph in IR. There is a nice interplay of shadows on the bridge pointing towards the wood almost showing you the way to go!! Problem with shadows is, it can sometimes make for harsh lighting, which is this case I feel this image suffers from. Perhaps pulling back on the Black slider would help improve it. |

This is super Debbie and well worth the effort. The lilies stand out proudly against the leaves and your painting has enhanced them. Maybe a crop from the left coming up to nearly the tip of the bottom leaf at the base of the flower stem, making it more square-ish might improve the composition. Maybe not but it is a superb image so well done. |

Wow what impact. So well done showing the skyline of buildings against the super sky. Do like the curved lead in of the {whatever it is ) at the base. I take it it is some sort of walkway on the river? really good shot this and can visualise it as a huge picture on a wall. |

Great impact here Julie and you have handled this very well with your usual expertise. I like the way you have placed this slightly off centre in one of the arches so that the eye can lead through and see what's beyond. Everything is sharp which suits the environment of architecture and cobbles etc., and the icing on the cake is the tree which lights up like a beacon. Nothing I can say to improve it, |

Love the effect Sharon and the lovely subtle gold hue. Quite an arty type effect. You are very good at this type of thing. The sky is great. Not too dramatic but compliments the gold of the trees. Do like the fine white grasses in the foreground which tend to lead you through the image. My only crit is the edges of the treeline which have a whiteish halo along the edge. Don't know how you could resolve this, but other than that this is a superb image and looks great enlarged. |
