Thank you Sharon. You are correct. The image would have been more interesting had the gate been open which I thought about at the time. Unfortunately the house was lived in and I didn't quite like to open the gate just to take the photo. If anyone had been around I would have asked, but alas no. |

Now I see it. That's amazing. Never thought to crop so much off any of mine thinking it would be lacking in quality. No loss of quality here. Good job. |

Debbie this is a beautiful arty image and very creative indeed.
I cannot think of anything that jars with this. It is just beautiful, except that it does not compare with your original which seems a different shot. No matter your finished one I feel is the better one. I can relate entirely to your comments about not getting out and also about losing your LUTS. Somehow something happened to mine and I am having difficulty re-creating them. But I think it something to do with my ageing brain. Must have another go. LOL. |

A familiar image, which we see a lot of in UK countryside but you have given it the WOW factor. The gold against the dark Blue sky just jumps out. Fantastic. |

A beautiful image Julie and the treatment you have given it serves it well. The Fountain stands out proud against an eerie ghostly looking wintery backdrop. Very atmospheric which suits the style of the architecture of the old building. Like Sharon you have mentioned several steps you have done to achieve this effect all of which have produced a wonderful art image. |

An interesting shot these tree against the glass windows. The trees just sparkle against the dark background. I do like the composition of the trees with the arched branch in the centre of the group of trees and the single tree on the right which is separated from the main cluster giving an overall interesting composition. Very nice quality in the silvery leaves. |

This is quite delightful Sharon and the colours you have produced are very subtle and gentle. sometimes colours can be overdone and look garish. This is perfect. Your explanation of how you did this is mind blowing. You must keep very good notes all the step of the way unlike myself who stumbles along experimenting and then forgot how I got to the end result. A beautiful image well executed.
