A great strong image Sharon which I like. I do like the lead in of the board lines and like the fact that it is off centre and the handrail on the right leads through towards the interesting Black house which I feel is a very important part of the image. I do like the way you have processed the sky making the most of the fluffy clouds and bringing detail into the top left part of the sky to balance things off. However, and this is just my personal preference, I find that the contrast in the original appeals to me more and wondered if you added a gentle warm tone to your processed image it would make a difference. Overall though I think this is a lovely image and well processed. |

This is an interesting Clock, very unusual design. Somehow I get the impression that it is slewed at the top but that may be an illusion because of it's height. I agree with Debbie that on your processed image the whites, the detail is lacking a bit and all that is needed is either to bring the whites down with Levels or replace the detail with a texture brush. It is certainly worth trying as it is a different and satisfying image. |

I am by nature a landscape and Mono photographer. It's how I started many many moons ago with darkroom processing. I can relate to this as a great mono landscape. Simple but with all the necessary elements. The gully on the bottom left seems to lead through, and the icing on the cake are the two tiny figures leading out. Nice sky. Great stuff. |

This is beautiful Debbie. You are certainly making use of the ClIR Course. There is an etheareal look to this. Very dreamy and calming. The colours are soft and pastel and all blends in well together. I am not in the market for the course but can tell there is much advantage to be gained by InfraReders! The gazebo is set against a lovely background and there is nothing that I could say to improve this. Wonderful. |
