35 Feb 19 Comment I think this was done in your horizontal phase. The clouds are in horizontal lines racing towards the trees, the top one being in the lead and stretching its neck out to get to the finish line. Then you have the horizontals of the line of trees and the two fences. Overall it is a very pleasing composition and totally uncluttered. Feb 10th
35 Feb 19 Comment It must have been so annoying that you couldn't get out the car, but these things happen and as it is you have captured the rays and processed them very well indeed to bring out their effect. The bird is good, but a pity you couldn't have captured it as he flew through the really white area of the sky which would have made him more prominent. You could of course move it into that area if you felt so inclined but don't get rid of it completely. It's a nice touch. All in all under your difficult conditions you have done an excellent job. 35 Feb 19 Comment This looks a lovely park Nelson with lots of potential. There is a lot to view here. The path leading you through the image to the two people. The attractive little pond and I love that clump of vegetation at the front edge. There is a lot of vegetation, so I suspect it must have been summertime when the trees were in full leaf. A very pleasant park scene. Feb 10th
35 Feb 19 Comment A very familiar image for us in Britain and reminiscent of the Yorkshire Dales.I think you have done the right thing to crop off the sky and concentrate on the landscape. The little barn is, I feel, important to the composition of this shot. Overall it is a very pleasant scene, which would have been made more dramatic with the steam train crossing. You must go back and take that shot Julie when the trains start running again but that aside lovely image

35 Feb 19 Comment This is an absolute cracker Sharon. Beautifully processed showing all the fine details and delicacy in the
petal and leaves. The side lighting helps to give form. Perhaps the shadow petal on the right side is blending a bit with the dark background and could be lifted a touch. But otherwise superb.
