You seem to have a very good trip in these parts April. These mountains? are a very well known site photographically, and as you say you weren't blessed with the best conditions. However
I feel more could be made of the scene by adding more drama. The right and middle hump (I'm sure there is a correct name for them),are somewhat brighter than the one on the left, so feel the brightness could be toned down and given some clarity to bring out the features in the rock face. The base is also quite bright and draws you eye away from the main subject so needs darkening down dramatically. With the right treatment this could be a very nice image. |

A fine building Stuart and I can understand why the locals did not want it to disappear. The only crit I could make is that perhaps the bright areas in the plants at the base could be toned down a little and perhaps add a little clarity to make the designs on the stonework and pillars really jump out. |

A beautiful image of these beautiful shapely trees. Like Nelson I feel the person on the right could be cloned or cropped out and also the bright area at the base could be cropped off. I also feel the bright bushes on the left might be toned down a little to bring them in line with the foliage on the oak trees which would concentrate your eyes on the building and trees which is what drew your attention. |

A very attractive scene with just the right exposure and contrast showing up the stately tree trunks. Do like the wispy little white cloud in the gap of the trees. Very nice image and wouldn't change a thing.

As usual your quality is second to none, and this is indeed a very attractive scene. Personally I feel the building is okay and I love the tree on the right. There is a lot to take in in this scene with the reflection of the bridge and the lovely foliage at the base but I'm mot sure it is all needed as the most interesting part of the image to me is the the house and bridge. The reflection of the bridge is very attractive but I feel the foliage at the base is a distraction and pulls the eye away from the main elements. Is it possible to crop just under the bridge reflection and clone out the protruding foliage. |

This scene I have taken on Various occasions and the last time in the summer months, when we were having a bi of a drout. and the waterfall was but a trickle. The scene does benefit from the waterfall in full force as you have it here. My version is a wider view. I didn't think to crop it like this but by doing so you have concentrated more on the waterfall and the waterwheel. |
