What an interesting building setup Sharon. It has a sense of dereliction and abandonment about it in comparison with the more well kept buildings in the background. You have managed to get a sense of movement in the clouds probably due to the different slower shutter speeds but am not sure you need all the sky as the Black area tends to draw your eye away from the building which I feel is the point of interest. The trees are lovely and crisp but for my taste I feel they should be toned down a touch as they are quite bright. Personally I feel this is a great image but would be even better with a few adjustments. |

You have done a great job on this Debbie and the work you have put into it has served you well. There is nothing I would suggest you change. It is an interesting subject, different from the usual type of IR subject material and you have give it a gentle and warm feel to it. Love the toning. It is nice that you have processed this so that you can move right through the doorway to the outside foliage, and the clarity, although not overdone is good. Well done on an excellent job. |

This cameo puts a different perspective on IR and I quite like it. These people are like aliens strutting around. I particularly like the lady sitting on the rock. She almost looks like she is sitting in the hand of the rock. Brave woman. She is going to get an awful clatter if she falls. Love that cloud overhanging the main subject. If I were to suggest anything it would be to darken down the base or a vignette to draw your eye towards the rock. Perhaps cropping in from the right would also help concentrate on the main area. |

A lovely clean crisp image Julie. The cottage looks in pristine condition and not the run down type that is typical of the highlands and islands. Was it lived in. Can't imagine it would be considering the isolation which comes across so well. No matter it is a great image and I like the fact that it is reflected in the loch. I also like the patterns in the loch with the gravel splattered around or, whatever these patterns in the water are. As far as the sky goes. it is quite bland and some gentle wispy clouds would break up the emptiness, - or crop more of the sky. Nice image though. |
