Very perceptive Debbie, of course it was not Panasonic (that is my camera), it was Photomatix Pro where I imported my 3 images. Must be having a 'senior' moment. Thank you for your info on Topaz. I will try that out. Regarding your image. Why not try having a blank layer at the top of your stack in PS layers. Fill with White, then blend with soft light. That will dramatically lighten your Blues. You could then take down the opacity to suit your taste, then add a mask and bring back the areas you want returned to the original colours, with a brush. It's all about experimentation. You may have tried this. If not give it a go and see what happens. |

This is a very nice scene indeed and lends itself to IR photography. It is overall blue and could do with some separation of tones. Firstly I think a crop from the base to underneath the pots would make for a stronger composition. Then I think it would be worth experimenting with various methods to introduce some contrast. It is a very nice image and worth working on it. Well done. |

You certainly seem to have had a great photographic time in Thialand Nelson and brought back some very nice images. This one in particular I like very much and it is not too over the top colourwise. In fact it is all very subtle and compatible. Love the sky which seems very realistic to a nice summers day. The foliage I do like and it blends in nicely. A lovely image giving a nice warm feeling to the viewer - me!!. If I were to make a crit it would be to clone out the bent grasses intruding on the backdrop. This should be easy to do and in my opinion make this scene even better. |

What a wonderful story about these horses and you have captured them very well indeed. I can understand that it could not have been easy to get shots with the conditions prevailing at the time. The main part of the image with the horses is very good with plenty of detail showing the horses features. Perhaps a vignette to darken around the horses ie. taking away the brightness from around them would draw the eye more in to the group of horses giving them more attention and toning down the bright area on the right. Well done. A great shot which I like very much. |

Eeh Julie. Another cracker. An interesting and unusual lighthouse in a lovely setting making for a wonderful image. Love the sky with the apparent moving clouds, but am mystified as to how you got this effect with 1/320th sec. Not that it matters I love them and it is a great effect setting the scene for your scene below. My only slight crit is that perhaps the trees on the left could be toned down a little at the top and perhaps slight darkening of the base. Great image as usual. |

The seashore is always a great subject and is no exception for IR. I love the crashing wave you have captured as it gives some indication of the conditions on the day. I do like the way you have toned down the foliage so that it doesn't clash with the wave and I also like the interesting clouds. |

This is indeed a beautiful image with exceptional detail and clarity. There's not a lot more I can say about it as I feel it has been executed perfectly in my eye, and I cannot see anything I would suggest changing. Well done on a superb image. |
