Well seen Debbie. I never noticed this. I expect it would be Topaz going along its own course.n If I had noticed I would probably have tried to do something, but don't know what. Very perceptive. |

You have indeed used your camera correctly Debbie. all seems sharp and with good tones. Love the sky and these skudding clouds. They really seem as though they are racing on. You certainly have a lot of white foliage and trees in this shoot and the fence and arbour help to break it up a bit. I feel that maybe you have a little too much foliage showing and the image might be improved by cropping off the bottom part just under the fence as I feel there is a lot to look at and for my part, the interesting areas are the fence the arbour and definitely that sky. Very good effort. |

Isn't it amazing Stuart how IR lends itself to different types of subjects like yours with no foliage in sight but yet yielding a very successful mono image. I like the fact you have included the partial wooden stake on the left. It seems to point and lead to the others which into the image. It's good that you have simplified this image zooming into the important elements. My only crit is that the vignette is good but perhaps a little less on the top left, and the white article on the boat is a little eye catching. Maybe toning it down a bit would help. |

Do like this Nelson. The image is well processed and has a lovely range of tones. Love the sweep of the wall on the right leading in to the scene. Lovely subtle sky and your choice of framing the image with the trees and branches was the right thing to do. |

This is a lovely structure, and although old, it has been well maintained. You have made an excellent job in processing, and I do like the fact you have removed the log from the right but retained the triangular boulder. Love the hanging flower basket.! Topaz impression has made an excellent job of giving this an 'arty' feel and I'm not surprised the owners liked it. You have given this an arty feel with a touch of mystery. Love it. |
