A bold attempt here. I do like the low viewpoint which has given the main flower some prominence, but unfortunately overall the image is quite busy and difficult to isolate the main tulip because of other encroaching tulips. This is a shame because on it's own I feel this would have been a striking image. It is difficult taking flowers in their natural environment but often worth the effort. The quality is excellent, but I feel there is a missed opportunity here, Try again but get rid of the surrounding tulips some way (not by puling them out -lol) |

Yes I know it well, and you were so lucky to get these interesting clouds to fill the sky area, almost like the angels flying in. Looks like you had a very sunny contrasty day and I think this has showed up in some parts of your foliage. The base could be toned down a little to help this also the left hand bottom corner which tends to lead your eye there. Otherwise lovely image, I must go back. |

I love this Julie. I could say I love everything about it, but I agree with Arnold, I feel the diagonal band removed would improve the overall scene, otherwise to me it is perfect. The quality is superb, and I wouldn't change a thing. Love the little tree on the right. |

Good on you Stuart for trying something different. IR is not all about greenery!! You have produced a good pattern picture with the waves on the shoreline, and added some interest with the interesting backdrop. There is a good vibe here of the gently incoming tide lapping on the beach. These rocks look very interesting and worthy of more shots.
An excellent pictorial shot. Perhaps a little more exposure would lighten the deep shadows in the rocks,. Well done. |

This is a superb rendition of these two old vehicles. How fortunate to find them together, and in such a pleasing area. Can't find anything wrong in this Sharon, fact is everything's right. Superb quality, love the subject and particularly like the long clump of grasses on the left. Exposure is good as is tonal range. Who needs to go to Alaska etc., when you have this on your doorstep. |
