This is a beautiful image of these cheetahs, posing in a
perfect composition!! The clarity on the cheetahs is superb showing their wonderful faces and body markings. I wonder if it would have been as good if you had used your traditional IR camera. We don't know as you would need a comparison. You seem to have gone to great lengths to get the effect you wanted which is superb. My question is would you have got just as good an image simply turning to Mono and adjusting the colour settings, and would the method you have applied here be recognised as IR. If so something to be used when unable to do the traditional. Whatever the answer Great shot well done. |

Phew Henry you certainly know how to get the most out of your IR system. Good image though it would have been, the inclusion of the figures has made it a great image, much more so that they are against the backdrop of Yellow. the composition is brilliant, with the superbly shaped bridge leading your eye into the scene. The inclusion of the drooping leaves from above is a master stroke. I did wonder if the Yellow was too strong, but this is colour IR and totally different from conventional colour and here you have used it to its full potential. Lovely. |

I can understand that it is a favourite spot with photographers, and is totally suited to IR. A lovely image well exposed with lovely detail so your HDR shot has served you well. My first impression was that it was quite busy but on reflection (pun) there is lots to look at and investigate and enjoy in this image of a beautiful venue. |

A very pleasant scene of Sherborne, which I do not know but looks like a place worth visiting. I like the way you have broken up the foreground by including the pathway with the benches and the shadow of the tree. Very well exposed and processed. The sky looks quite heavy and was not sure if it need lightening or desaturated a bit, but after a bit of thought felt it suited the tone of the building which has an oppressive look about it and does not look the most pleasing architecture. |

Cemetaries are great places for IR photography and you have managed to capture the spirit of this one including part of a mausoleum and different types of headstones. It appears as though it was a very contrasty sunny day which might not have helped you. I do like the long shadows coming from the mausoleum, and you have managed to retain detail in the light areas. There is however quite a bit of noise showing, particularly in the top right hand corner in the featureless sky area. Overall a very worthy effort especially in your early experimental days. |

I do not really understand all the technical jargon, suffice to say that this is a very clean and clinical image showing great detail which does this majestic building proud. Colours are subtle and pleasing. Nice image Sharon. |
