You are quite right Henry. Your version has improved the image just by introducing a bit of contrast. Also with regard to your col0ur version. I have introduced colour to landscapes before and not found them satisfactory to my taste with the peachieness that is introduced. I much prefer the colour in your type of photography with flowers etc., which seems to give them a more dramatic arty look. |

Thanks Julie. I also prefer the sky in. This area is away from the Castle in the walks in the wooded area |

Thank you for the information Sharon. I do have LR, but not used it as I tend to always stick to Raw in Bridge and just wondered what the benefits were of LR. Must try and get to grips with it.!!! I believe On One now have a Raw programme out now which they are advertising. |

You have achieved a very unusual and interesting effect here and you have put a lot of effort into achieving it. You are working hard at photographing still life with IR and I am amazed at the colours you have shown although like Henry's original I am amazed at the colour of your original also. Is there a reason why it's not the typical Pink Hue. As mentioned in Henry's comments I would be interested as to why some people, like yourselves start in Lightroom then move on to PS. Is there a benefit in doing this. Perhaps I should have put this query in the bulletin board when everyone could throw in their comments. |

A great shot of this iconic monument. It stands out well against the cloud, and the line of the pathway leading up to it. A change from the time you took me when it was dull and overcast and cow poo all over the grass! In the straightening process you seem to have an area that requires a bit of content awareing on the top right, but that wouldn't be a problem. great impact. |

What a lovely high key effect you have achieved here. You seem to have cracked studio type portraiture, and making it your own. The soft box has worked well giving a nice even light for glamour type photography. My only problem is her right hand which doesn't quite fit in with the delicate state of the overall image. Nevertheless a great shot. |

An interesting old building and can understand why you would want to revisit from time to time. These have to be taken before they are bulldozed and gone forever. On this occasion you have done a great job in recording it and what it was once like. Tree is situated in the right place and sets it off pictorially. The tonal range is good throughout and the only crit I can make is that it gives the impression that it is slightly leaning left although in fact it might not be. Well done. |

Another great canvas. You should start selling these Henry
(but maybe you do). Great impact, great colour, simple yet bold. How you get this from your original escapes me, although how you get the colour in your original escapes me even having it explained. Well done once again young man. One thing I would like to ask from yourself and others who use Lightroom. What is the benefit of starting off in Lightroom then transferring to PS CC. Why not do it all in PS. I would be interested to know because although I also have Lightroom never use. |

Eeh what a great shot of a much photographed area. I have the same shot myself with the boulder in the LH corner, but not as good as this. IR suits it well. the atmosphere in the sky is tremendous and I love the detail showing in the lighten up mountain behind. All been done before Julie but this is a gem. |
