35 Apr 17 Comment Sandsend, one of my favourite places yet I do not remember seeing this building or I do not have the seeing eye.
Although it is blue all over it works by giving the impress ion of a delightful sunny day. I agree with Julie about the road and it might help by cloning in the the line of the sea and the ground around the shed in place of the road, What about 2 more seagulls in the sky above the shed ??.

35 Apr 17 Comment A thoughtful arrangement but sadly it has a very flat dull appearance. There is an excellent article in the April RPS Journal " sculpting with light " might be worth experimenting with this idea, it certainly adds more quality to still life. Apr 15th
35 Apr 17 Comment The vineyard part of this picture is great, the excellent curving path disappearing into the distance but the foreground posts and wire netting automatically create a barrier to the viewer and enjoyment of it.I would suggest an increase of contrast in the sky to make the streaks of cloud stronger. 35 Apr 17 Comment Each of the colours in this scene are correct, and very pleasant yet looked at as a whole they do not convince me that they are. I find this effect unsettling and wonder if it is something that is embedded in ourselves.I have never lived in the countryside, all my life was lived in a city, the war, the industry a sort of black and white world and for most of my earlier photography is was mainly mono and infrared which I adore has always been basically mono,I don`t settle easily with colour infrared.
I am certainly not suggesting that you are wrong, just trying to express how I personally feel.I do agree with you about the main tree.
