What I am trying to explain is that I feel that pictures which are composed of a panel need special attention to tbe balance and arrangement,I think that with some adjustment it would be much stronger.
The 3 dark pots plus another similar one placed one on each corner, the L H of the middle line placed in the centre, the present centre and top right be replaced with two of similar mid tone and stronger texture and used to fill in the the remaining spaces. The darker ones would be holding the arrangement together, the lightest one would be in the central eye catching whilst the rest would play their pnart with toe and texture. |

Anyone visiting USA cannot fail to realise the vastness of the country, everything is bigger. You have illustrated this feeling
with this scene.Huge folded rocks tumbling down to the foreground and perched upon them in the distance two seemingly little trees, contrast in size and space. The cloud above is an extra Bonus, perhaps a slight increase in luminosity could be added to it.

An unusual subject but always worth experimenting. In some ways l like the colours and in others the infrared.Certainly the larger beans/ seeds are best for showing textures, the finer ones don't work as well. The bottom line of three pots is the strongest, if you have or can get more and of a different tones they could be arranged in lines / diagonals to add to the arrangement pattern. |

Very imposing, whatever the exhibit represents it shows up so well against the background of super clouds and excellent I/R of the trees.I like the fact that you got close to the sculpture making sure it was impressive and making it the centre of interest. Excellent quality I/R . |

I/r in colour really does work with this example, simply oozing with beauty, no wonder people enjoy living in such places and houses cost a fortune.
I don't know how your original is coloured, you must tell me how that is achieved. The work you have done to it has greatly added to the quality of light, softness of tones, beauty and the arrangement is excellent. Might I suggest cropping the R/H side just far enough to remove the small are of white, the important boats still remain to do their job.Super |

Sadly on my one and only visit to USA I did not get to visit El Capitan, always one of my favourites, especially as a lover of Ansel,It is a magnificent scene which you have portrayed to perfection, a quality print which does justice fully in every way. SUPERB. |
