Certainly an eye-popping picture. I'm having some difficulty with the Title - what is the "Future" part? I see the non-traditional colours for a lighthouse. Have no problem with the sharpness, but suggest getting rid of the orange blotch to the right of the lighthouse. BTW - I really like the Original 2 picture - nice landscape. |

WOW - what a great picture. Love the story and the technical aspects of the image - great composition and colours and tones.
If I did not read your title - I would say they young person is concerned about the effects of industrialization on our environment. |

Bob, I can identify with your dilemma - been there!
My approach (to this point!) is to first of all make pictures for myself - what I like vs. what I think someone else might like. My goal is to make a picture that I would hang on my wall, and be able to look at and enjoy for a long time. Probably happens 1 in 500 shots I take ,if that. It does not matter what genre - realism, creative, abstract, etc.
My other objective is to make creative, unique images - unfortunately my boredom level bar is very low - for a while I took hundreds of shots of autumn colours every year, and I finally realized the 90% were all much the same - so I'm much more selective what I shoot now - same with sunsets. Sorry to go on and on and on! |

A ver nice painterly interpretation - like the colours and the simple composition very much.
I thought I would never say this - but here goes: I would suggest a heavier hand in the painterly application - especially on the tree. The sky certainly shows more 'painterly' effect. Just a thought. |

How do you like the visionary panel?
Have not bought most of his stuff - but have his colour and toning lessons. I like his knowledge on art a lot. On the other hand, I have a disagreement with his stance on Ai. |

Bob
I use Ps Adjustments, Gradient Map, white to black.
My guru, Blake recommended this to easily see the distribution of tonal values. Harder to see when in colour |
