I like this picture very much. Very effective composition. Adding a blur also works well - creating a mysterious feel to the image. As the title tells us that it is raining, I wondered what it would look like as a dark, gloomy, rainy day. I added a Grunge filter using Topaz Studio, to feature this altered atmosphere. What do you think?
For my taste, showing the couple sharp when they are so deep in image would not work |

Like this whimsical image. The colours are very effective and happy. Adding the candies made the picture for me. To reinforce the twirl and add some depth I added a radial filter to darken the outside - maybe a bit too much. See what you think of this version. |

Nice Altered Reality conversion. My eyes go to the signage, lamp, light in door. The overall feel certainly brings to mind that night time is quickly approaching. I have no suggestions. |

Jim, first of all, your definition for AR, is perfect - for you. We all have our own idea what we consider the amount of alteration needed to define this category. AR range goes from very minimal to outrageous.
Your image is a very nice and simple picture, and I enjoyed seeing the light, and airy felling it depicts. |

Sorry to see you go. One additional point regarding the AR definition. I think we have all, at one point and another, wrestled with it. My take is, if I identify a picture as AR, and I really like it - it's AR. But I also learned, that sharing this picture and receiving feedback - "to much/not enough AR" is not relevant. If I say it's AR, it's AR. End of sermon! |

An interesting interpretation. The filters worked well, and all around technically well done. Nice work on the reflection. Why blue? Just wondering. |

A very impactful portrait - good of you to catch it. Also a good idea to take it from a distance! Like the B&W effect on the face - works really well. I only suggest one change - very subjective, but I think the extra white subjects/areas in the frame are a bit distracting. See attached - did not spend too much time, and messed up the area over his right shoulder. |

A very nice creative image - I like the fact that the flowers were not involved in the swirl. Would not change a thing |

Very nice nature study - love the 'pose'. Reasonably sharp, and nicely exposed. Just a nit, and not sure if possible, I added just a hint of an eye. |

Another winner in Group 29!( I certainly have to up my game!) I like how pleasing it is on my eyes as I explore this subject. Not too busy, yet really interesting - so much to enjoy. Great colours, nice and sharp, and nicely exposed. I only have one suggestion - would prefer a bit more tonal contrast. See attached. |

WOW - love it! Would not change a thing. Very nice composition, and the trees and the rocks frame the falls perfectly. Like Tims picture, this one needs to be on a wall. |

Love this picture - made me smile! I think the outstanding feature (other than the beautiful cows) is the composition. Like the way it leads my eyes through the picture, by following the cows eyes. The feeding in the middle is perfect - as a matter of fact, for me, this grouping could not have been posed any better than this.
It's nice and sharp and the exposure is perfect as well. My only little nit - I would remove the ear tags - a bit distracting. Tim, you aced it and it needs to be on a wall. |

Thank you Frans and everyone - much appreciate your feedback. Will remove the vignette and darken a handful of too bright spots. Will archive the revision in my "For My Eyes Only" file. |

Candy - thanks for viewing my abstract, and your feedback. I often find Abstracts a challenge as well, as they often don't tell a story, nor do they identify a subject matter. Instead they use colour, tones, textures, and forms to try to please our eyes. As I see it. |

Interesting chair, but unfortunately does not really hold my interest for long.
For me, the Alerted Reality aspect is very minimal. |

A super job - and for me it tells a great story - a visitor in new world. Your compositing skills are very evident. I like all the different aspects that make up this picture. The sky, the surface, the man and the sphere. Colours and tones are very impactful for me. The "clock" images in the sphere unfortunately don't work for me - very subjective. The sphere does need something, not sure what.

Thank you for another very creative, Altered Reality image. Meant in the nicest way, your imagination is 'out there'! Always look forward to your images. My only suggestion is to downplay the colours and bright lights on the left side, as they are a bit distracting. I used the Burn tool in my version to do this - although it needs a bit more work - just to give you an idea. Keep'em coming! |

WOW - very creative and so well done. Love everything about it, especially the moodiness of the overall theme. Lighting is also really striking. Would not change a thing. |

A very nice Altered Reality image. Really like the concept. The background, including the moon is striking. Turning the leaf into a 'magic carpet' works really well for me. Unfortunately the flowered band on the head does not work for me - find it distracting from the story - but I guess distracting is also a part of AR. Suggest a cowboy hat or some other head covering would work as well.

Really like this very creative composite. The colours are striking, and eye opening. I especially like the yellow highlights in the face. Overall a very well done composite, with well chosen layers. I only have one suggestion - I don't care for the square back of the Maids head - I realize it's Altered Reality, but that feature does not resonate with me - in my version, I cropped out the "squareness". See what you think |
