Thank you, Joan for your feedback. The software I used for this is called MirrorLab - It does not have very many fine tuning features, but if I were more competent with Photoshop, I could likely do as you suggest. So much to learn, so little time! |

Joan, please see my note to Jim - re:using someone else's art in my pictures.
Adding the bird is not enough to make it an Altered Reality image for me. Totally a personal bias, as many people have a different point of view. |

I like this image quite a lot - great title. Your new background works really well.
I must admit that I have a personal bias of using another artist work in my pictures, but that's just me. And you can imagine how I feel about generative Ai in my work! |

I really like the flower basket - nicely photographed and processed. Not a fan of the background. For me it competes too much with the flower basket. Picking new backgrounds is a challenge for me - am getting better, but still have a ways to go. I'm focusing on ensuring that they make the subject pop, by using cool colours, with little or no pattern. |

I'm a tree guy - love them. Generally not a big fan of painterly filters, but this one works for me - not overly processed. I suggest removing the mailbox? bottom right, as it is a bit distracting for me. |

Interesting approach. I like seeing the turbines in different positions. Am a fan of minimalist images and this one works. |

Looms? Let me tell you about looms! I actually worked in a weaving mill for a couple of years. The width of a loom obviously varies a great deal, depending what the product you're weaving is used for. Our little mill had about 80 looms, the widest was just under 10Ft. The largest looms I've personally seen are in carpet mills - don't remember the width but I would guess 30ft or so. Can't imagine a piece of woven material 100+ ft wide - but who knows.
My point with Judy's picture is, that most people would not know where the spool (bobbin) fits into the loom. It fits into the shuttle which zips back and forth laterally. |

Glad you like it. The sky picture is one of my favourites, especially the upper area- I use it a lot. I knew that it would take some attention away from the bridge, and as Elaine suggested it could be removed |

This is a very nice nature story and shot. I actually would not change a thing. I do wonder what the shutter speed would need to be to catch the wings? Suspect it's in the 3000 range, and of course would require the ISO to be upped considerably. |

A very nice fireworks picture. Nice and sharp and you caught it at the right moment. My only suggestion is that the top could use a bit more space. See another version - while I was at it, I also pushed up the colours a tad. See what you think. |

In my opinion, the image is nicely photographed and processed. For me it's a documentary type of image, and does not convey a story, nor does it show the relationship of the spools to the loom. There is nothing wrong with documentary pictures, but I find that they often are not as impactful. |

A nice architectural subject. However I find the picture a bit flat. As well the front corner wall is a little off-kilter. I used Levels to give it a bit more POP - darkened the darks a bit more, and lightened the lights a bit. Used NIK Perspective filter to straighten the walls a bit. See what you think of this version. |

A very nice nature shot - you captured the mouse in the perfect pose. Nicely exposed and reasonably sharp. Would not change a thing, however I took a crack at cropping it a bit tighter - also eliminating the out of focus leaf at the bottom - see what you think of this version. |

Steve, very nice composite. Also for the history - makes the image much more meaningful. Like everything about it - composition, colours, and mood. One suggestion - image #3 appears translucent at the bottom in the final image. |

Thanks, Steve
Do I misunderstand your comment, that the end result is not as important as showing the use of the software? My personal view is that the software used must enhances the subject in such a way that pleases the maker. |

Jan, thanks for your suggestions, I also like the top piece better, and when I get a minute, I'll redo it ( flip the image and add the filter, and make a composite so that both pieces have the same look). I do like the negative dark space, and it also maintains the original 2 separate towers. Thanks again |

Sorry, Jan, but not my cup of tea. Converting images like this to pop-art is really difficult - at least for me. Especially for portraits. The ideal end result for me is to have the pop-art features enhance the image, especially the face. Kudos for trying and possibly leaving your comfort zone. |

I always look forward to seeing your creative touches. I like this one as well, and would suggest just one minor change - clone out the the legs to make it look like it's swimming. |
