I agree re: Title
I struggle sometimes as I want the title to show my feelings about the image, but also provide some real information to the viewer i.e what is it?
So in this case, I was lazy and took the easy way out. My first inclination was to call it "Abstract #25".
I know titles are really important, so I'll keep at it.
Thanks for pointing this out.

I'm assuming you've created a jigsaw puzzle from the flower picture. Nice creative touch. A suggestion, show a few of the tiles in their proper position, with the rest still looking for their place. Well done, Joan

You've created an interesting photo of this window. Although we can't tell that it's part of a lighthouse, it is unique enough to stand on it's own. The filter works really well on this image - nice muted colours and texture. Not sure what the container is, and how it relates to the window (or lighthouse) - but seems to work. Well done, Jim |

I love the background you created - very suitable for the subject. As a matter of fact I like the whole image a lot. The only thing that crossed my mind, was that the dulcimer does not jump out of the background, as they are somewhat of the same hue. So I played with it (hope you don't mind) and changed the background to a colder colour, and it certainly makes the dulcimer jump out. The question always is what the creator had in mind. Attached is another version, see what you think. |

I like this documentary style picture quite a lot. The Grunge filter certainly did it's job, and your colour conversion also works well. My only suggestion would be to darken the highlights a bit, and also the white paper roll?, as it draws the eye away from the rest of this interesting scene. Rushed or not, well done. See my idea, attached. |

Lately I've been looking at Japanese Minimalism art - and love their approach to simplicity, yet in some way very powerful. Have also found out that it's far from easy - but I like to play! |

Always appreciate your take on my stuff - no worries as when you do it. My thought process re: the sun. Did not want it to be so prominent to draw the eye - hence the haze. |

When I shared this picture with my son, who is an orthopaedic surgeon , he very gently informed me that the "skull" is really the pelvis of a deer! Who knew? I saw the 2 openings and automatically jumped to the conclusion that they were eye sockets. Live and learn. |

Not up on bird species - is this a rare sighting? I like the original, with some major cropping as there is too much canvass for me. Also suggest removing the weed that crosses the body of the bird (unless this is a documentary/nature image). The processed version does not appeal to me, sorry. The abstract filter did a nice job on the background, but not so much for the bird - just my personal take. |

Thanks for your suggestions - like the new sun, but prefer the darker skull, as the focal point are the antlers, as per my title |

I forgot to mention, using stacking for sharpness, I suggest also using a lower ISO - like 200. Higher ISO and very small lens opening are not conducive for maximum sharpness - my experience. Good luck |

Beautifully done, Bob. Like your judicious touch of the swirl effect. Not too much, nor too little. Like the colours and the exposure as well. My only suggestion, for another version, is to crop it to more of a square to accentuate the swirl, and adding a very small border. See what you think.

Beautifully photographed and processed - agree with Elaine that the composition might be more effective with some additional canvass, bottom and left. |

I really like this Abstract - so much to see and enjoy. Great leading lines and shapes.
Unfortunately, I don't care for the target of the leading lines - too much going on and too small to appreciate. I really like the rest, and I think I'd be tempted to replace the focal point area with something more substantial/meaningful.

I've shot garlics a couple of times and always like the textures and muted colours. I'm a little surprised that the garlic is not as sharp as I would expect with focus stacking at f20. I shy away from using high aperture, and generally go to f5.8/f8 - the trade off is more images required. I've found using lenses at the high end are not as sharp. My only other suggestion is to show the garlic cloves coming from the garlic - I think it improves that story a bit, and also shows the interesting innards of the garlic - personal preference for sure. |

Very nice nature shot - I don't have a problem with the weed, and agree with Elaine to darken the log at the end and get rid if the little yellow flower. The cat is very nicely captured in an interesting pose. |

An excellent point and suggestion - I'm going to try it.
I've been struggling with this a while now - using one of my favourite creative apps - MirrorLab - As in this one, the mirror effect takes your eye to the center, and when it gets there there is nothing noteworthy to see. Offsetting it should work. Thanks |

Not sure how much credit I can take for 'creativity' - but what drives me is that I get very easily bored with 'ordinary' subjects, i.e. sunsets, like sunsets, but need to see them in a creative way. I also like to play - so I try lots of things, before I settle on something that I like. |

Another very nice, story telling Altered Reality image. Composite well done. I would suggest, as another version, to move the window closer to your husband, so that he's only one or two steps away, from his altered reality. For me the balloons don't work, sorry. |

Really like this creative piece. Beautiful colours and textures, and overall composition. Very effective placement of the moon. Only one suggestion - another version with a contrasting set of colours from the foreground. Kudos for your technical processing techniques. |

An interesting picture - especially the building and the northern lights. Beautifully photographed. For my taste, I would prefer just 2 or 3 lanterns - as currently they tend to take too much emphasis away from the building - personal preferance. |

An interesting composite. Colours are vibrant and eye-catching. I like the content, but find the composition a bit awkward with the location of the yellow flower squeezed in so close to the bottom |
