As always, this is your picture and your feelings about it, and is of primary importance. Our input is from our mindset, and only one opinion, of which there are as many as view it. |

WOW - love the moodiness that you created - reminds me of some old master painters work. My only issue is the altered moon - looks unreal to me, and spoils the image for me. Other than that, really well done and thought out. |

I love your original quite a lot. Great colours and nice composition.
Your altered reality image is also really interesting - the twirls filter did a nice job. For my eyes, I'd prefer to crop the right side a bit, to accentuate the "swirly" aspect - but that's me. See attachment

Beautiful portrait - love everything about it - colours, sharpness, texture, and blurred background. A very minor change might be to add a bit of a gradient to constrain the eyes a wee bit. See what you think |

A very nice documentary image. The bike is interesting, but my eyes keep going to the background - really intriguing and interesting. It's not often that I find the background more eye-catching and I love this one. |

A very nice nature image - great colours, nice composition, and blurred background. One suggestion, although not a big deal - would suggest shooting these kinds of image in a higher shutter speed, in this case maybe 1/500 - it would likely make the Bee even sharper. Nice shot |

What s great action shot - nice and sharp and story-telling. My only suggestion is to blur the non-car aspects to show some motion. See attached, a draft. |

Thanks, Steve
I agree with your suggestion. I have a bit of a light texture in the background, but maybe too dark. |

Thanks, Jan
The blurring was achieved with a very slow shutter speed, as I remember |

Ah yes, abstracts!. The genre that is very personal and therefore very difficult to critique - but I'll give it a shot. I agree, the inner border does really enhance this picture. For my eyes, the composition, especially the bottom piece, looks a bit awkward.I hope you don't mind, but I took the liberty to give it a bit of a different spin. Just another version from the same duck. |

Another great piece of work. Really liked what you did to the chapel and the steps. I like how the light parts of this image, surround the chapel. However, continuing in my 'nitpicky' mode, I would suggest a couple of changes - eliminate the cat as it draws attention from the chapel, and straighten the blue bush on the left. In any case a nice, restful image. |

Very creative and I like it a lot. The composite of the 2 images works really well - lots to see and enjoy. One small suggestion - raising the selfie a bit, to show the mouth and chin might work a bit better - at least for me. |

What a terrific image - gets my WOW grade. Love everything about it. Your technique is to be applauded (and I will steal this one!).
Amazing pictures, and being greedy, I wish another 'stamp' in the bottom row.
Congratulations |

A well done composite. Like the colours and texture of the truck. The leaf overlay also adds to the interest. For me, however, the crop is a bit too much. Like all the effects, but suggest another version, showing more of the truck. See my alternate crop attached. |

Another really well constructed Creative. Really like the interaction of the 2 characters. As well, the background image is really interesting and photogenic. All in all, I really enjoyed perusing this image.

Glad you like it. My Composites are done mostly with Blending Modes. I like the blending effects quite a lot - and I cycle through all of them, and narrow it down to one. Quite frequently I adjust the original texture layer, and redo the blending. I 'fiddle' a lot, and it's time consuming, but find it challenging and fun. After that I use Gradients and Tone and Colour adjustment in Photoshop. I do not use purchased Textures, and make my own. I do use Sky replacement, but only with my sky's. I do use purchased P.S. brushes.
I hope that helps. |
