A beautiful scenic image - it screams for me to sit on that bench(?) and just 'be'. This scene is one that is very close to my heart - when I have opportunity, this is where I go to 'church'. Compositionally it is very strong, as it is oh so easy to look at. It is sharp and nicely exposed/saturated. As I tend to to be a stickler for tiny details - I suggest you darken the small light strip to the right of the bench - as it does draw the eye. |

In my very subjective scoring system, this is a "WOW" picture and would content for hanging on one of my walls. This image has "stopping power" and cannot be ignored - generates emotions for this viewer. Compositionally and technical very strong - don't see any flaws. Great idea to smooth out the water. My only suggestion is to clone out the branch on the left that is too close to the edge for my taste. |

What a great Nature, documentary image - it tells a true nature story. The composition is very strong - leading lines and rule of thirds. The image is also sharp and nicely exposed. |

An attention-grabber, for sure. I find Abstracts to be more subjective than other genres - as they are mostly the result of the makers imagination. I had a difficult time to relate the title to what I see. The image is compositional and technically flawless, and my appreciation of the image is really not all that important, as long as for you it's a winner. |

Certainly ticks the boxes of Creativity and Originality, big time. I really like the bottom 1/3 of the image - shapes, lines, colours - beautiful. The top of the image is trying to tell me a story (or encourages me to decide what it is I'm seeing), but unfortunately does not work for me. ...and that's why we have vanilla and chocolate ice cream! |

Your picture certainly grabs one's attention - quickly. Very moody and dramatic look - especially the sky, which mirrors the feeling of the building. In my opinion, the column on the right should be perpendicular. Although from a compositional perspective, I feel that the building alone would lack a bit of interest, however the column is not the best fit to enhance the story, my opinion. Your choice of a B&W treatment is perfect for this documentary image - really like the texture of the wall and your exposure is perfect. It is also sharp - front to back. |
