Talk about "SHARP" - wow (even considering heavy cropping) - not only that, the exposure is 'spot-on' as well. You need no more 'practice sessions' - based on this image, it's 'prime-time' time! |

A beautiful example of table-top photography - technically perfect, from my perspective. Like how you captured the light perfectly throughout the image. It's nice and sharp, and fills the frame nicely. At first, I was a little bothered with the angles of the table and the basket, but it works.
Thanks so much for passing on Lucy Becks information - added her to my "hero's" list - what a talent! |

What a great picture - love everything about it. The eyes and the overall expression are priceless. Technically - top-notch! Would not change a thing. |

What a nice bird picture - technically very well done. It's reasonably sharp, and I quite like the composition. The background works well and helps isolate the bird. There are some over-exposed areas (white feathers in sunshine) that show no detail, but not overly objectionable. |

A nice travel/documentary shot - it certainly tells a story, as there is lots to see. The flag and the rocks also frame the building quite nicely.

I'm a big fan of the 'long-exposure' technique. I like the subject matter a lot, and the composition is quite strong. As far as the "Blue Hour" is concerned - I get the impression that the sky is still too "Daylight Blue" - maybe wait another 1/2 hour or so. As well, I think the skyline is just a titch overexposed. Have you tried converting to B&W? Sometimes surprising results. |
