I love the lighting going on here - beautiful backlit mane and tail. The dust certainly helps create a moodiness, that is very appealing. The 'ghostly' riders in the background also add to this scene. I seem to remember a song called "Ghost Riders" by Frankie Laine (I think!) |

I really like this image a lot - love the contrast between the colourful art and the buildings in the background. I also like the composition, in that image is tilted, playing off the shape of the sculpture. The picture is nice and sharp, and well exposed.

This is a nice scenic image, with some interesting detail features. However, for my taste, I think I would prefer it in colour. B&W, or mono-colour images certainly showcase textures, forms, and structure, however this being a Nature image, I miss the colours found in scenes such as this.

If one is not an experienced "bird shooter", these images are really challenging for us. If the image is large enough (pixels), you might still be able to crop, and make the bird larger, Unfortunately, the bird is not very sharp.

I like this shot quite a lot - great action and exposure. Panning is certainly not easy, and needs some practice and patience. I found that I had more 'keepers' when I shot in Sequential (HighSpeed) mode, and JPG. Shooting in RAW, which I do 90% of the time, slows my loading speed down and I get fewer shots. Your picture is very close to having the riders face in focus - good attempt. |
