You captured the sunset reflection on the water very nicely, and the ducks are right in the midst of the change in the reflections. This picture cries "panorama" to me (to accentuate 'movement'), so I would be tempted to chop a bit off the top and bottom, but being careful not to have the ducks right in the middle. |

Happy New Year to you as well. I think I prefer the colour image mainly due to the red sign and bits of colour in the window. I find the vertical tilt of the building a bit troubling, and overall it really doesn't pique my interest very much - but to each, their own! |

Very nice bird picture - nice and sharp and well exposed. Really like the shallow depth-of-field for a great background (not so much for the foreground - but no big deal). The owl is really well-positioned in the frame, and I wouldn't change a thing.

Another one for my wall!!! Love everything about this picture. In my opinion it is an especially strong composition - love the way it encourages the eye to travel around the scene - starting at the lower left foreground and going anti-clockwise. It is very sharp and the exposure is spot-on. "Mother Nature" would be very happy with your depiction of this beautiful scene. |

A very nice image - thought provoking and story-telling. Really like the movement of the swans as captured. The exposure is quite effective and the image is reasonably sharp. Also really like the colours and corresponding saturation. Have a couple of suggestions - I would be tempted to flip the image, as I prefer 'left-to-right' moving objects and would add an all around white border of about 5 pix to identify the bottom of the scene. I'm curious why the low ISO?
