Whatever it is, I think I can see what appealed to you in this image. For me, the colours, textures, patterns and shapes - all on a black background - works really well. My only suggestion is that a more diagonal position of "it" might add another dimension. This is one of my favourite photographic art subjects - well done.

A beautiful bird, captured beautifully. Nice and sharp, and the exposure is spot-on. The water patterns are also very interesting and well captured. Would like to see a bit more water in front of the duck, so as to get away from a rather static composition. |

A very good example of a documentary image - nice and sharp and nicely placed in the frame. |

Really like the scenic aspects of this image - the panning resulted in a very moody image of the water and the green strip of land. For my taste, the out-of-focus birds are not of interest. Not suggesting that they need to be tack-sharp, but just a bit more recognizable. Would also suggest cropping out the bottom 25% of the image, which would result in more movement. |

What a beautiful image. A very interesting rock formation, set in a very beautiful sunset scenic. Technically perfect from my perspective. There is so much to see in this image - needs to be on a wall. |
