It is a very creative combination of the bulb and the flash. As Don pointed out, it is interesting that without power source where the flash come from? I am not familiar with the technique's aspect. I am wondering what would be different if only use single step shot? |

I like the perspective of the view and the color contrast of the rocks and mountains.
My first glance also feels the rock lacks of contrast. Charlie's revision is a great improvement.

It is a great catch of a backyard bird. It is a great job done to clone out the bird from the blurred background. It is a very nice improvement. I feel that the feathers in the chest and the head could be sharper and more focused. |

It is a great catch of the butterfly in a leafy tree. The second butterfly looks like a reflection and is a distraction. I would agree to remove it as Stuart's revision. |

I enjoy very much of watch this image. It is a kind of photo I would like to put on the wall of my living room! The color hue could be produced in sun rise or in sun set which are my favorite atmosphere. The light condition at the time may bright the darkness of the trees. But brining out some of the details in the tress as David suggested would a be great improvement. |

Another great HDR image! I always wish to learn the HDR techniques but failed to produce such effect. I would like to ask, in addition to adjustment of the contrast and details, have you ever used the plugin such as Photomatix?. |

Cindy! Thanks for your comments. It was a cloudy sky the day I was taking the photo. Thus the original color is grey. I changed to fit the color hue of the rock. Yes, I did tried to replace the sky with my previous more colorful sunset sky. But it was unsuccessful. |

David! thanks for your comment. My wife also suggested that it could be a B/W photo. I just personally feel that the yellow hue is more appealing for rocks! |
