Charlie! thanks for your comments! The lens is AF Nikkor 70-210 mm 1.4-5.6 D.
Yes, you are right, In the sunset scene, I always shot with bracket exposure. When it gets darker, I will shot with various exposure times. Post-processing was always done after create a HDR image with bracket exposure images. |

It is a great idea to have such image. I like the surreal impression of the leaf hanging on the air. The leaf is on the backside of the light. But a bit lighten up could see more detail of the vein of the leaf. |

I also feel the lack of focal point in the image. But I can appreciate the beauty of the pattern of forms, shapes and colors.

It is an interesting moment to catch the sea gull and the sparkling waves. I can see that the water sprays are blurred in the background. But the white color of the water is very close with the color of the gull. Thus it becomes less distinct from the background. |

I enjoy to see this kind of old wooden building. It gives me an impression of HDR imaging which I often try but fail to created. |

It is a very beautiful landscape image. I enjoy to see the HDR style imaging. You have done a great job of post processing. I especially like the work on cloud formation. |

This is the description of my image:
The Bandai Bridge is a bridge crossing the Shinano River in Niigata, Japan. The current bridge was constructed in 1929, and was designated as a nationally Important Cultural Property in July 2004. Today the Bandai Bridge is considered the symbol of the city of Niigata The current bridge contains six arches and is made of reinforced concrete with granite siding. It is 306.9 meters long, 21.9 meters wide, and has two car lanes in each direction. The bridge is one of the city's most scenic spots, especially when lit up at night.
I watched the sunset over the Bandai bridge on the upper floor of the Niigata Newspaper building. My Nikon D810 was on tripod with f/32, 45.1 second and ISO of 64. The post-processing was done in Viveza2 and cropped in Photoshop.

Dear Don, Thanks for your comment. The place is in Niigata, Japan. If I would take vacation again, I probably will visit again. The photo is taken from the high building of the Niigata Newspaper which is free access to public. Yes I would expect to have more colorful sunset the next time!
The imahe is taken with my Nikon D810 on tripod, f/32, 45.1 second and ISO of 64. |
